1/4-20 100lb $18.99 for 4. They hold just fine. The pic of the lantern horizontal is the worst case and it is not barely holding, it is holding well. Would like a bit stronger but really no issue. This LT1 lantern is heavy.(Holding on computer case.)

I use these to mount some magazine holders on the inside of my safe. I have yet to have fully loaded magazines slide, or fall off the wall, and the magnets are rubber coated so they don't scratch the wall.

Update: I went through the carwash and forgot about the beacon on the roof. The magnets HELD & DIDN’T BUDGE!I swapped out magnets on a new light that I had bought. I don’t think I’ll ever have to worry about doing highway speeds again.These baby’s stick and stay in place!Having done towing most of my life. I’ve applied many aux lights on vehicles over the years. None of which ever grabbed the metal like these suckers do.Would I recommend them to a friend. Heck yeah!100lb pull weight magnets.

The threaded part of the bolts is only 1/4". I have to buy longer bolts to attach a tarp with grommets.

I ordered the 2 packs of the 105lb magnets. These things are incredibly powerful. I have zero fear that my new roof mounted LED light bar will ever fall off even if I was driving a 120MPH. with 4 of these attached to it.I put one of these on my vehicle roof to test the strength, and it took me several minutes to get it off. If you want a powerful magnet that really sticks to metal or steel then these are the ones to buy. Rugged and worth every penny.

I went through a lot of cheap plastic phone mounts that kept breaking until I found this one. No more plastic. I finally found something durable.

Magnets work fine holding item firmly in place and are not easily removed from the top of truck. Still they can be removed when necessary with strong upward force without damage. These are not light duty magnets. Use them to attach a small light bar to the roof of a Silverado pickup truck.

I used this to mount a power strip on the back of an enclosure. No drilling required. I used the m4 screws in place of the standard drywall screws.
