Da LucaTwo Piece Ballistic Nylon Watch Strap - Black (PVD Buckle) : 24mm

I have owned three Da Luca two-piece watch straps: 24 mm black, 24 mm Goldfinger Bond and 22 mm Goldfinger Bond. The black one and the 24 mm Bond are great. The nylon is folded over straight, the sew lines are straight and the colors of the Bond strap are vibrant and true to the original. The 22 mm Bond strap is a different story. The nylon is folded over at an angle on both strap ends where they attach to the watch. This causes the folded over portion to stick out the side of each strap end. Also, the sewing over both of these areas is not straight and instead crosses the strap width at an angle. Like my other Bond strap, the colors are vibrant and the strap looks great on my watch. However, if I wanted the quality of a $10.00 watch strap I would have purchased a $10.00 watch strap instead of this $29.99 Da Luca. Watches and watch straps are relatively small so small details like these matter.

My DaLuca 2-piece Nato bands for another watch are great, and the webbing on those is very sturdy. This 2-piece band fits my watch well, but the webbing is pretty thin and flimsy. The 140mm/80mm size is a little short for me too.

I put this band on my Seiko Men's SSC231 Sport Solar. The metal band was either too tight or loose depending on my activity level at the time.This is a sturdy, 2-piece band.When replacing the band, I would advise that you order the nylon band a millimeter or 2 smaller. When the band is folded and sewn, the nylon expands just a little bit.I remedied this with a lighter and large nail clippers to heat / melt the affected area, rolled the material back to the original width, and snipped off any excess material.I've had a few nylon bands that were much lighter-weight, so I have little doubt that the DaLuca will last many years of daily use.

It is a beautiful strap with a big flaw. You put it on and soon you feel it is pinching your skin in several places. Where the stitching is you find sharp rigid edges that brought up blisters on my wrist. I am currently wearing with a band aid underneath hoping that it will stop, and I have tried smoothing the edges by cutting them with a pair of scissors. Very nice strap but very uncomfortable!!Update: i managed to cut the edge of the strap that was too rigid, and now it is more confortable. I'm upgrading to 4*

Added some character to my watch. It did not fit properly, so I had to modify the edges slightly by melting them to make it ultimately work. I have worn my watch with the added band daily for almost three years now with little wear and tear. The edges fray occasionally and the paint has rubbed off the metal clasps in high contact areas. Overall I have gotten lots of compliments on my watch since applying the new bands.

I bought this and instantly regretted it when I pulled it from the package. I tried to put it on my watch anyway just to try it out and couldn't because it has no attaching mechanism

This band is worth every dollar that I paid for it. Does not stretch when wet or dry. Stays tight when on, no slipping around. The size adjustment holes are plenty and will fit most any size wrist. The color I choose is awesome. Best watch band I have ever owned. I needed a wide band size for my type of watch and glad I found this one!

This is a nice strap. I would have preferred it more if it was a little thicker. I gave it three stars because you can get straps that are just as good cheaper in different colors. This is the only strap I could find in this color of brown and with black hardware. It matches the watch I purchased it for very well. I just do not like the fact I had to pay such a premium in order to get this particular color.
