I'm not super handy or boat-savvy, but swapping in this Attwood Tsunami aerator pump was surprisingly straightforward. No major headaches or special tools needed. Once I got it installed and out on the water, I was really impressed. It fills the livewell super quick, keeps the water moving well, and my bait and fish have stayed lively without any problems. It's also pretty quiet and runs smooth with just a low hum, nothing annoying or loud like some pumps I've heard about. Zero complaints so far. For longevity (since I've heard these can get clogged in weedy water), I added a wide screen over the intake to block weeds and junk. Fingers crossed it lasts a long time with that extra protection. If your old pump died and you're looking for an easy, reliable replacement, this one's a solid choice. Definitely worth it!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these pump submersible?**
A: I don’t think submerging this pump is recommended. I checked the installation instructions that came with my aerator 800 gph pump and all of them show non-submerged mounting.  There is an application for recirculating water in a live well mounting the pump directly thru the side (with the pump on the outside of the live well) with a intake screen near the bottom and a spray head above the water line.

**Q: This pump can be used inside tank**
A: I have one for my bilge which does get submerged and one for my live well that is in the same area. So it gets submerged also. So they do operate under water. I haven’t used them inside a tank but I think they should work.

**Q: will this pump run in reverse as well to drain my live well**
A: No our Tsunami pumps are not designed to run in reverse.

**Q: Can you plum one of the fittings with a filter?**
A: We do not recommend use filters on the outlets. We do offer strainers for the inlet.

This is the aerator used in the Seadoo Fish Pro 2017! Mine broke due to salt and bouncing on the waves, and I nearly drowned, but getting the replacement was easy. However, installation is not for everyone, as it is located in a very hard-to-reach place.
