A very informative book
I started intermittent fasting a few months ago but I did not know enough about it. It felt right for me but I was not sure I was doing it right. And then, this book came along.I found it very informative and very well presented. The author has definitely researched it in depth for his own purposes and takes us through the science around it and a comprehensive set of advice. Of course, the book details how and when to fast, and for how long. But it also goes in a lot of details about how to break the fast because this is an essential piece of information often overlooked and about supplementation (maybe a bit too complex for me) and a variety of nutrition advice. There is also a lot of advice and information about broader topics about healthy lifestyle which can complement the intermittent fasting. The book concludes with a very useful toolbox.I learned a lot with this book and it definitely gives me an informed and stronger basis to continue my own journey.

Easy to understand and highly informative
This book explains so much about intermittent fasting, it makes it seem easy (which it is), and it made a lot of sense to me. It was interesting reading the authorās back story, from when he started, how he adjusted, and seeing where he is now. Some great strategies, lots of mindfulness, and always practical. You do what fits you. You know your body and mind. No one else, per Thomas DeLauer. Iāve been doing my own version of intermittent fasting for over a year now, and Iāve been unclear about certain aspects, Iām happy to say this book has answered all my questions and more. All the information you need about Intermittent Fasting in one neat book.I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Ridiculously hard to do
I looked into fasting as an easy less complicated way to weight controlā¦this is so complicated and totally not lifestyle friendly..telling you not to use toothpaste and carry little bags of powdered substances with you itās ridiculously difficult to follow..( finish your fast with grass fed and grass finished protein only) what the hell does that even mean.. it should be called fasting made really complicated instead of fasting made easy..I feel totally ripped off..

I've been following Thomas Delauer for some time on YouTube and was hesitant at first to buy this book, because I thought it might be a beginners guide with things I already knew from watching his videos, but as I started reading it I was blown away by how informative it is! It is laid out in such an organized and easy-to-read manner and is the ultimate guidebook for anyone wanting to learn more about intermittent fasting. You can tell Thomas really poured himself into this book. It's so enjoyable to read. Highly recommend!

great book (esp. for beginners), but the binding could be more sturdy
The book is really great. Thomas Delauer is very knowledgeable and a great teacher. The book really covers everything you might want to know. I like the design of the book - important things are highlighted in boxes (light blue or grey). He even covers subjects like workout, which not all fasting experts cover in great detail. In my opinion, this is an ideal book for a beginner.Although I am not a beginner, I would almost have kept the book out of sentimentality or respect for Mr. Delauer, but the binding of the book does not seem to be very stable. Therefore, I returned the book.

The book is amazing but the book binding is pathetic!!
This is the first time I opened this book nd look at the binding...paid so much amount only to get it bound again from a local binder..other than that the book offers a comprehensive view on intermittent fasting amazing for those who wants to understand the concept of intermittent fasting š.

Thomas DeLauer is awesome
Loved the book... in following Thomas on youtube it has helped me drop 35kgs before CV hit .... mentally I went downhill however regaining motivation now and watching the weight come off again! Thomas keeps it real in his videos and books. I'll never be 160kgs EVER again !
