... is, of course, a story for children. I read it when I was very young, and read it again recently. Well, I was disappointed (of course!). I am now over 80 years old and for me the books was boring. This has nothing to do with the book per se, but everything with me in my old age. To get away from the dang Disney contortions, buy the book and read it. It actually contains quite profound life lessons.

Am really enjoying reading this classic book with my 10 year old.

Every child's library needs Pinnochio. A classic. I would recommend shopping around for the best illustrations, not sure I would have landed on this one.

Whatever you have heard about "Pinocchio" is probably wrong, except for the nose business. It is a lively story.
