Great book if you’re even considering fishing the Beartooths
This is a great guide to fishing The Beartooths. You’ll want to fish it all by the time you read 1/4 of this book.

Thorough review of lakes and fishing
This book has an amazing amount of detail on the many lakes in this area. Could have a little more on how to get there, camping conditions etc. Also really needs an update with Lat/Long GPS locations in addition to Township/Range. I have the 2008 edition. Overall well worth the price if you want to explore the fishing in this area.

Nothing else like it nowhere
Never had a fishing guide like this, probably because there is nothing else like it nowhere. My dad and brother laughed at me good for "buying a book about fishing!". But "Fishing the Beartooths" quickly became part of the discussion every night around the campfire. Our 2 week fishing trip in the area was immeasureably improved by the author's generous attention to detail. Part reference, part story telling, this book is as important to your Beartooth fishing trip as your nippers or tippet (well, almost anyway).

Great for trip preparation
Bought this as a gift for someone who was planning a vacation (that I went on). He reported that the book had really nice information that helped him to plan the trip. We didn't have quite the luck with catching fish in lakes where the book indicated we should have relatively good luck, but that might have just been a fluke or the weather or something.

Beartooth Mountains
I have been going to the Beartooth Mountains for many, many years with my father and brothers. Even though there are many other places to camp and fish that are closer to home, the Beartooths are like a 2nd home to us and a great tradition for our family. This book is by far the best guide to this beautiful region.
