Well made and really like the slow close wooden lid

I recently installed the Dometic 310 Standard Toilet in my RV and it has completely transformed my camping experience. Love the Dometic 310.It was very easy to replace our dometic 300 with the 310. Only took me about 20 minutes to remove the old and replace with the new. Removal and install only required a few common household tools. The install instructions and diagrams are well written and easy to follow.Why a 310? It has a nice porcelain 1 piece bowl that is much easier to keep clean than the plastic of the 300. The leaner stool profile at the base also allows better access for cleaning outside and behind the toilet in small bathrooms.Be sure to measure your wall clearance if planning to swap from the 300 to the 310. I knew our clearance was going to be a tight fit because our 21ft TT has a very tiny bath. The top back of the 310 stool is slightly deeper than the 300, so in our TT the 310 just barely fit, leaving a clearance of less than 1/2 inch. Fortunately the smaller clearance does not affect operation or use of the toilet or the cabinet behind it.The quiet close lid and seat truely are silent and sturdy, unlike the plastic seat on the 300. It is solid enough to sit on while drying off after a shower without having to fear cracking the lid.Don't hesitate because of the price diff between the 300 and 310. There is no comparison when it comes to quality, functionality, and comfort of the 310!

5th wheel came with the model 300. It leaked at the base. Replaced with the 310. Solid and sturdy. Worth the upgrade and wish I had done it sooner. Easy to install
