SMD 1 Channel Speaker Terminal (Grade 8)

I was almost not gonna get these because of price but they are pretty essential for bass rattling subs. These are very secure. I wish these were sold in pairs cuz you do have to dish out money to buy a 2.75 inch hole saw, foam tape, and screws to set this up.But I'm glad I got this anyways. Just gives peace of mind. And I'm sure these help run your setup a bit cooler since you have more metal to wire contact and can run thicker gauges easily. I would always have to remove my subs and find connections come loose especially after upgrading to stronger subs. Troubleshooting used to be a hassle, but with this you can crimp the proper ring terminal size to your wire and you're set forever. I would recommend tightening (w/ a 13mm wrench) the side that goes inside the box (while holding the last nut on the other side) before screwing the terminal on. It will never go anywhere. Installing and removing the wire on the outside is a breeze by hand and the flange nut has a good bite on the crimped wire.

Perfect for my needs. Tight seal for matching hole saw once carpet is out of the way. No need for sealants. No nuts rattling loose. No arcing from flimsy push terminals. Material is very tough. Worth the additional cost in my opinion. The bolt setup sticks out a little and isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing thing to look at, but it’s not permanently attached so you can cut or replace the bolt if you need to. Perhaps a cover can be made to fit inside with a section removed for wires to fit. That might be more of a special request item though... I’m more about function so it’s good enough for me.

What can I say...they work as they should. You will need a 2.5 in hole saw for them to fit..I bought a hole saw from Amazon(was supposed to be 2.5in) and the size was too small so I had to use the saw to wrap sandpaper around it,to make the hole bigger..oh and for the ones using 3/4 thickness you will have to move the terminal around with a little pressure until it falls in.👍🏾

Worth it! My other terminals kept melting. Bought this one and I’ve had no issues. Three 12’s Bridged and outgoing to this terminal. It’s solid and I’m betting money this will last forever. High quality and durable.

Easy to install. No modifications ,fit perfectly into my skar dual 10 in enclosure Easy to wire for larger speaker terminals

Great product, only problems I find with it is that, the connectors have to be bent because it’s deep. The other issue I had was , there was no info when I got my order on how big I needed to drill or cut out to install it. If there was a choice on how think you want it, it would be a 5 star product.

I used these on a subwoofer box and they are very nice for bigger wires and higher output drivers. They're sturdy as can be, they look nice, and I'd recommend them
