Hello this purchase of the beach blanket was the best buy I ever got.I’ve always struggled with trying to find the perfect beach blanket until I came across this one.It’s really large and fits my whole family and our food.The blanket is wind breaker material which makes it sand proof and water proof and this makes it perfect for the beach.All these properties make it very easy to clean.The blanket is super easy to carry around as it comes in a small bag.It also comes with 4 pegs that you just put in each 4 corners of the blanket to keep it down and if you lose the pegs the blanket has zip pockets where you can put sand in to weigh it down.

Perfect! Use it all the time when on holidays or on the beach! Also anywhere outdoors when no sand as its foldable and does not take much space. Fabric is thick enough and better as base than blankets.

Set up my beach set up in the garden before the holiday to see how it all is, looks ok. I was expecting all 4 corners of the mat to have pockets for sand to weight it down but it's only in one. 4 pegs come with it so we'll have to see how that copes in the sand. I'll try to update once we've had our holiday to let you all know.It does fold really small and it is very light weight so it should be ok in hand luggage (check the pegs though as they might have to go in the main luggage for security reasons).

I already have a small water resistant blanket that's invaluable and has been used to keep me dry during a downpour but I was interested in this blanket due to the much larger size.It comes in a pouch which was smaller than I imagined but on taking the blanket out I was reassured, it's huge! It comes with pegs that can be used to stake it to the ground if you're using it as a groundsheet and it has zipped pockets in the corners that can be filled with sand or rocks to keep it in place (or used to keep things safe). It also has a handy pocket along one of the sides for storing keys, phone etc. The small bag that stores the blanket is actually attached to save it getting lost, which is a nice touch.I've used it on damp grass and wet sand and it has kept the water out admirably. It seems really well made, the stitching is good and the zips work smoothly. I'm not overly keen on the colour options but no other issues to report.I might not use it as much as the smaller blanket but for the occasions when I need a bigger, more robust option this will do the job without any problem at all. Overall I'm very pleased.

Wasn’t great. It’s compacted which is the best thing about it. But it could do with proper sand bags added to it.

Perfect for beach days the pegs held it down for whole day. The pocket was very handy to keep phone safe, and it can be packed up again so easy and neat so easy to store.

The title calls this a waterproof beach blanket/picnic blanket - that is very misleading, this is nothing more than a plastic sheet. Not what i was looking for, returning for refund. If you are looking for a BLANKET with waterproof backing this is not it.
