A Million Magical Creatures: Enchanting Characters to Colour

I haven't done any colouring for almost a decade and got this cute simple book to build up my confidence. Artwork is imaginative and lends itself to both simple and more complicated colouring. The paper is medium weight, takes pencils well and handles gouache and acrylic OK. Transparent watercolours create dark spots on paper, I imagine that watercolours with a lot of binder or mixed with white would work OK. Still, amazing value for the price.I have used Black Widow, NYONI, Prismacolor and Stilnuvo pencils; Arteza &Himi Gouache, Posca white pen and random glitter gel pens.

I have all of Lulu mayos coloring books and I love this one the most. As usual her pictures are so imaginative and creative, which makes it a pleasure to color. The paper is it's usual amazing quality, it takes multiple layers of colored pencil, pastel pencils and at least a couple of layers of watercolor. I have used black widow pencils and Faber Castell/ conté a Paris pastel pencils and Faber Castell goldfaber aqua pencils in the above pics 👍💜

Great fun was bought for my daughter who was in isolation for relieving the boredom fab quirky pictures
