Not worked but post support and replacement nice is
In order to previous review .. adding more stars coz of post sake support provided. Sent a brand new cable as replacement and old cable also asked to keep :). Thanka for quick support and replacement."Waste of money. Even it's not properly worked for the first time. Not working after setting personal pin. In first attempt it took the personal pin but only default pin worked. 2nd time both pins not working. Now Need to check on return/ warrantyy things now. Simply waste of money."

CHEAP CHINESE LIFTOFF - DAMAGED MY LAPTOP
The media could not be loaded. Those who are giving 5 stars either got a different product - or they do not know what they are using. For reference - the product that I am referring to is the first image (with packaging)A Kensington lock (or any real laptop lock) is supposed to expand sideways (you can see videos on the internet). The Laptop is constructed such that the left and right sides of the lock slot are metal-fortified. Therefore, when the lock is closed - it cannot be pulled off.This Cheap Chinese Product rotates to lock (see the video). This means it locks by rotating to the top and bottom. The lock is actually getting blocked by the plastic body of the laptop.1. A slightly heavy tug will break the plastic and pull the lock away.2. I have damaged my laptop because I did not care to check the mechanism. See images 3 and 4, where I have showed arrows where the plastic has bulged.This is non-returnable so Rs 568 wasted. My laptop is damaged !!Buy at your own risk. Those who gave 5 stars are just lucky that they have a thicker laptop. If you gave a 5 star review and disagree with me - just give it one big tug and you will see the laptop body crack ... and this junk will come out.If you got some other product under the same ad - this is an Amazon issue. These days, traders put something good for sale - and once that gets many good reviews, they simply replace that with a cheaper one. The good reviews of some other product now show up for this cheap product. Amazon will eventually find out and block this - but till then, if you are giving a review - please also add a image of the complete product.

Works well as described
This was for my son who is joining college this year. Item came early and working well as described.

Solid product, but a bit fiddly with rusted wire
The item is apparently good. I changed the lock digits to my choice easily and the lock fits the laptop slot easily, but there is a little play after inserting the lock into the laptop grove. Its fiddly nature does not inspire confidence. I am worried, that it might damage my laptop is pulled. However, the more serious flaw in the product was that the wire is rusted at many places. Though the wise is covered by the silicon/plastic protective layer, the rust on the wire is clearly visible through this transparent cover. See the rusty wire in the photos I am attaching.
