I cannot measure the length of the shaft because once it is inserted into the PVC pipe it is very difficult to remove. The od of the flange is 2 3/8" as previously mentioned. This matches the od of the PVC pipe into which it has been inserted. **Q: I assume the internal drain size is 2in? What is the diameter of the upper flat portion?** A: I measured the outside diameter of the snap in drain plug at 2 3/8", matching the outside diameter of the PVC pipe into which it has been inserted. **Q: The description says there are metallic ones available but I can’t find them.
