Real hard to put on. Punctured my new unused tube.
As everyone says it’s really hard to get on. It’s my second one and the first last year was the same.I’ve punctured my new inner tube trying to put it on. This really shouldn’t need to happen it cost me £6 have to buy another. You can see in the pic the amount you need to pull up but the tyre rim is just not flexible enough fir a human. You have to use your levers to breaking point and possibly damage the tube.

Perfect for mountain bike
After surgery I wanted to keep riding to increase my fitness. I brought a turbo trainer for my mountain bike, but the noise of the nobbly tyres drove everyone mad. I researched and this item popped up, I brought it hoping it was the right thing. Fitting is NOT as easy as a mountain bike tyre but as long as you have some good tyre levers you'll be fine. Once fitted and inflated the tyre was brilliant on the bike, low noise and good grip on the trainer. If you are using a turbo trainer regularly I would grab a spare wheel for this so you swap out the wheel and train.

Really worth doing
If you read any other reviews you may be put off as some found the tyre hard to fit - it is!!!! But get the thinnest inner tube you can and only inflate after fitting. Use no tools just fingers, a little talcum helps, and be really picky about getting the fitting line correct all the way round. Done about 200 miles since fitting - no regrets

From hell of noise to a more acceptable noise
My MBT tyre was terribly noisy, with this the situation has changed radically. It is still noisy but at an acceptable level.Few minor issues I found:- the tyre size is very narrow (1.25), something I didn't realized when I bought it so I had to look for an inner tube with right dimensions as well.- it leaves some residuals on the trainer roller that I had to clean regularly - especially when new

Missing the skewer!
If I could mark less than one star I would! Missing the part I needed the most! Time wasted as I'm not having to make an order else where for the bit that should have arrived today! Will be complaining since it's clearly shown in the pictures!

works well once sitting correctly.
I had a bit of trouble getting the tyre to sit properly on the wheel but that may have been me, although I’ve fitted a lot of tyres.

26" training wheel for MTB
Great, arrived promptly, relatively easy to fit on standard 26" mountain bike rim, no requirement for tyre levers. Works a treat on Tacx Turbo trainer with no annoying squeaks or skipping that you get with a slick road tyre.
