After a couple of weeks using it, I'm happy with the purchase. The container feels solid and the beans smell great. The capacity is enough to store 500g of beans, not much more.

I bought this container to store fresh roast coffee beans in. First off: this thing is air tight! It effectively has two seals, the tight fitting inner lid that pushes down to the level of the beans, and a second clear plastic lid that you snap on top. The result is that nothing gets in or out of this solid container. It's made of stainless steel which is perfect to avoid plastic smells, it keeps the coffee dry, and blocks out light. It's the perfect size: it holds a pound of beans, it has a large diameter so it's easy to reach inside for the handle on the inner seal to pull it out, and it's a good height that will fit on average height shelves. It's also light and sturdy in case you accidentally drop it. I found it's easy to grip to take down from a shelf -- the brushed finish is not too smooth or slippery. It thoughtfully has a grippy rubber pad on the bottom so it won't accidentally slide off a counter or shelf. Drawbacks? Just one: it's kind of pricey. But dang, I'll be buying another one or two of these anyway because it's the best coffee bean storage I have tried.

Keeps my coffee fresh

I like the size. We can store a whole bag of our beans in there. It looks fancy, and it matches our Breville Bambino. I got it while it was on sale, so I think it has excellent value for the money I paid for it. The sound it makes as the air is pushed out is so satisfying, and the seal feels tight. The beans taste fresher than they used to. I really like it!
