The CRUISER is designed specifically for the female touring kayaker and sit-on-top paddler. The CRUISER is shaped for women, with a smaller cut, shortened torso, supportive inner cups, and the new WRAPTURETM shaped torso. The back side has half flotation/half cool mesh to fit comfortably above the seat back found in today’s rec-tour boats. Neoprene padded shoulders and lower back waistband are easy on the skin when worn with a swimsuit.

My fault, only four stars
I did not pay enough attention when purchasing this. I failed to notice that the shoulder staps are not lined with neoprene like others I looked at near this price point. My mistake. Tried paddling in a tank top only to find the mesh lining rubs my shoulders and makes them sore, quickly takes the fun out of the paddle. Will modify my paddling apparel, and pay better attention next time. Otherwise, great gear.

Great fit for plus size woman
Size 22 busty woman and this fit very comfortably with room to spare and easy adjustment straps. No discomfort from rubbing, and I could fit my phone and keys (in ziplocs) in the pockets. Thanks for offering options for larger women who still love to be outdoors!

Comfortable, Large front pockets are great.
Having now used this PFD for several kayaking day trips, I love it. The fit is great, with the padding in the right places making it really comfortable for all-day wear, and it's really adjustable to my exact specifications. In particular, I like that the back section doesn't go too far down, so it doesn't hit the high seat back of my kayak. The zippered pockets in front are perfect for keeping my large phone (in its waterproof pouch) secure on one side, while I keep my longnose pliers in the other for fishing. I tested it out to see how well it works, and it does a fine job with its intended purpose. It also dries quite quickly. All in all a great buy.

Comfortable, Fully Adjustable, Paddling Rated PFD
Bought this for kayaking. I'm new to kayaking and had a PFD that I used for a paddleboat that tried to choke me. So it was either quite kayaking or get a new PFD. After a great deal of research (on-line and in brick & mortar) I found this one. It had an excellent rating from the women's kayak club. I'm a curvy women and the cutouts and adjustments are wonderful! And I can even get my hands into the pockets. I can get a snug fit thanks to all the adjustable straps and can still breath and move easily in my kayak. The back is cut high enough so that I can sit comfortably in the seat and the mesh makes it cooler at the back waist area. The shoulders are nicely padded; I wear a t-shirt so can't say if it would chafe bare skin. The zipper is strong and works easily. The pull tabs placed just right to get the zipper started. As an added bonus, the color matches my kayak.😉 After my husband saw how comfortable I was in my new PFD, he also purchased a new one similar to this. Now we are safe and comfortably paddling around this summer!

Must for large breast
I am 5'7", wear a size 6-8 pants, 32 to 34 DD bra size and found the XS/small fits great. The inner cups are accommodating for large breast and there is no smashed boob discomfort as I've experienced in other PFDs. I usually only have a rash guard on under the PFD and find I am a bit past half way for tightening the side straps. You may consider to consider the M/L if you will be wearing multiple layers (dry suit....); I found I still had enough adjustment with a longsleve and dry top on. I found I couldn't get the medium as tight as I would like it.Couple downsides:Not a huge amount of room for side adjustments.Zippers on the pockets are always sliding down, don't keep anything you don't want to loose in themNo rescue belt

Wonderful PFD for the ladies.
Really great! It fits well. I've only tried it on and I can tell it will work very well. It definitely fits better than the department store-bought PFD I've been using. I can't wait to get in my kayak and feel the difference. My girls fit nicely in the boob slots. Typical PFD's can make you feel like there is extra tightness and weight on your chest. I'm eager to get in my kayak soon!

Extremely comfortable, but some small annoyances
Very comfortable for recreational paddling; I hardly know I am wearing it. The Med/Lg is perfect for me (I'm 5' 3" with 36" bust, 28" waist.) Rides high on the body so it doesn't interfere with a spray skirt or seat back. The flip side of that is that it places all the flotation near your shoulder blades, giving you a rather hunchbacked look. Oh well, I'm not in a beauty pageant. The pockets are big and one has a very convenient key hook. I chose this over the Ebb because I wanted the security of the zippered pockets vs. snap pockets. However, I found out the zippered pockets don't stay zipped in water, so not as secure as I hoped! After about a month/handful of uses, it developed little grey spots that look like mildew. I do hang dry and it doesn't smell mildewy so not sure what they are, but it just looks dingy.

Highly Recommend
Took up kayaking about 2 years ago and never had my own vest (had to wear one of my boyfriend’s). Did a lot of research before taking the plunge and am glad I did. This fits so well and is so comfortable. I appreciate that it’s specifically designed for women, even us larger-chested ones. It is highly adjustable and can fit a good range of sizes. The high mesh back is awesome-it doesn’t interfere with the seat back.
