The zodiac spray for dogs + cats has pyrethrin not permethrin. i want to spray carpets but i want my cats to be safe. which should i use?

The aerosol is .50% permethrin. Acceptable levels for a flea/tick spray directly on the cat is .05-.1% so this is 10 times the amount. Check this out on the ASPCA website. New labels after 2017 which I have yet to find anywhere advocate that the spray is potentially fatal to cats and "not for broadcast use". Yes, indeedy.

I have a toy yorkie that's inside and he has never had fleas. The key is to spray occasionally. The first time I used it I couldn't believe how well it works. I keep extras for when it heats up again I can redo my house. So yes it works. Highly recommend it.
