Great pro kit at excellent price
Excellent professional quality network with a huge range of options. The base stations are large and robust but that reflects the capability. Remote management and monitoring is also good. Simple if you want and very technical if you want. At the price I paid (63% OFF!) I was sceptical but have no regrets at all. A very good piece of kit.

Range & control
This is a fantastic wireless LAN solution, being able to check your network and control it from anywhere via the phone app is great. The range is good & the signal is reliable, a little bit tricky to set up however once you're in you'll love it. Proper wifi at last, just do it..

End of life, no more security or firmware updates, short lifespan
I bought these just over a year ago and am disappointed to say they are already marked as end of life on the netgear website - this means no more updates or support, which is ridiculous for something so expensive.I expected to get several years of use out of this, but netgear just want you to buy the new version.Avoid.

Worked out of the box with a little tuning
This is a great pieces of kit. I bought the router plus a single satellite. The router worked out of the box. I configured as an Access Point initially and the Satellite connected easily - everything worked for me just as documented. I went with AP first because the online help wasn't quite clear enough for me to figure out the details for VLAN settings required to replace the modem provided by my ISP. I raised a help query with Netgear and got step by step instructions with 24 hours by email. It worked and I switched out all the legacy kit from my ISP. I am very happy with the results. I'm on 1GB Ethernet over Fibre and getting 96mb upload 956 mb download all over house when I speed-check online. I bought CAT7 cable too for bandwidth hungry devices like my online backup NAS box. Everything is very stable with no complaints from 5 concurrent video conferencing users.

Excellent wifi and bandwidth, but poor interface
Bought this to replace a much cheaper mesh wifi that couldn't handle full fiber speeds. Fairly easy to set up, and now provides 500mb speed throughout my house. The interface is pretty slow and not that easy, and there is no built in filtering (for example you cannot restrict access to be appropriate for kids) and there is no virus or obvious intrusion detection, which was prominent on the cheaper tapo wifi. Still, if you need the robust and fast wifi, this has to be your choice.

Easy Peasy
The item arrived several days earlier than expected, which was a bonus.I have fibre to the door and setting this up was a doddle. I can now get the maximum performance from the fibre broadband throughout the whole house. It is a brilliant bit of kit

An awesome piece of equipment
I was looking for a router to replace my EE router which I felt was running out of steam when I was very busy. I also wanted a router which could seperate my business equipment from my personal equipment and both from the growing number of IoT devices. So if one got attacked by hackers the others would not be affected. I was not disappointed ! The speed difference was very noticeable, confirming my suspicions and I was able to see the telemetry on the router and its satellite. The range is so much bigger and I don't get any "Dead Spots" in the house. Well worth the money.

Excellent WiFi mediocre interface. Poor power loss recovery.
Coverage is very good, probably twice what I was getting with my old mesh system. Backhaul option excellent really helps extent coverage.Interface ok but a little cumbersome.Recovery from loss of power is poor basically requiring system to be setup again.
