What does polarized mean?

Hi Kathleen, thank you for your question. Polarize mean that the plug or outlet only has 2 prongs instead of 3 (ground terminal). If you have any further questions, please feel free to respond or give us a call between the hours of 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM Central Standard Time, Monday thru Friday at 1-800-654-8483. Thank you.

I want it to turn my router off and on, but after I set the off and on time which is 3:00 a.m. off then on at 3:01, it won't turn the router on

You may have to reverse it. I used mine for grow lights. Time to the left turns on the power time on right turns off the power. Try setting on. At 3:01 and off at 3:00

Does the grounded version have a countdown timer option the same as the polarized version?

Hello SteveB, thank you for your question. No, it does not have a countdown timer option.

Why am i having to set the time to 10pm when ot os actually 10am to get lights to come go off in the 6pm to 6am setting?

Hi James, thank you for your question. We recommend setting your timer to the present time and then setting your ON/OFF times to 6 PM and 6 AM. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to respond or give us a call between the hours of 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM Central Standard Time, Monday thru Friday at 1-800-654-8483. Thank you.
