You will think you made a mistake in purchasing this but it is absolutely worth it if you like firm brush. I do. Even so, it felt like a brick the first time in addition to the over sized head...but I get an extraordinary level of debris removal and aggressive plaque removal also combined with using baking soda. You will have a tough time finding a brush cover, and your gums may scream the first couple uses but the brush softens naturally JUST enough for you to enjoy it eventually. Great product.

To be honest, I didn’t buy these to brush my teeth, but rather a cleaning tool to get rid of live abalone’s slim on the outside. Perfect for that task, the brush is firm enough to do a good job, but not too hard to start damaging the meat. Love them.

These toothbrushes are hard, like advertised and a straight handle, which I like. The bristles are a little long however.

omg i have overgrown gums and plaque, this hard brush really helps me clean in between my teeth so well. I have enough for a while too lol but i wouldn’t recommend using every day

Great toothbrushes if you like a stiffer brush. Long length covers more teeth faster. Just take it slow and light touch. These brushes are not for wimps. They pack a serious punch on your gums if you don't get used to it first. Really like these brushes.

I thought I would give this toothbrush a try but it just like any other firm toothbrush but just a lot bigger. The firmness is not extra hard like I thought it would be.

I ordered these brushes to clean tile grout, so I wanted very hard bristles. However, don't buy these if you're going to use them to brush your teeth. First, they aren't packaged separately and come in an unsealed box with no protective packaging -- they are not sanitary. Second, the bristles are much larger and longer than a standard toothbrush, so they would be uncomfortable and ineffective. And finally, the bristles are very hard -- great for cleaning grout, but not recommended for the health of your teeth and gums.

I don't usually give reviews but had to on this one. As other people have said, they are oversized somewhat and take some time to get used too. I've been looking for tooth brushes like this for years because they don't make good thick ones like when I was younger. Out of the box, yes, you could use one to clean tile grout!. Perhaps that's a secondary use to buy them but they work on teeth too. The first week you have to brush lightly with them. After that they soften up enough but still remain firm. They work amazingly, the best tooth brush I've found in over 20 years! My teeth are noticeably cleaner from just regular brushing than they been in a long time. The brushes get deep down into the gum area like a floss too. Highly recommended and the package of 8 will last a LONG time because they don't soften up too much and go flat.
