PLEX Preamp - 4 Band Active Preamp Pedal (PLEXPreampd1)

Great GK sounds. Has everything I need: compressor, tone shaping, tuner and DI XLR in one pedal. Also has effect loop. I have the effect loop going to a Boss GE-7B Bass EQ to add a little low en bump and my bass has that low girth growl.Nice additional feature include headphone out and aux in to practice w/ external player.

I brought this for my fiancé. He was looking for something simple to take with him on gigs and for Sunday morning worship. This was perfect for him and it has made his overall tone sound more professional and has made his bass playing stand out more. You can literally feel it in your chest when he plays. He loves it and I love not having to drag around his old amps.

The Best ever!

I bought this in the hopes of overdubbing bass lines to songs. Songs were recorded in stereo and when sent the signal into the AUX IN and listened through The GK Plex headphone jack, the songs were in mono. I thought I had a defective item so I sent it back but the replacement was the same result. TASCAM GT-R1 (and it's relatives) can do this Boss DR880 can do this (with MIDI input only). Why not GK Plex?For what I needed it for, this was a disappointment. I did not try out the features to alter sound etc I am sure it has a place as seen on Youtube but for me, AUX in and Headphone out should be stereo -I will be sending this back for a refund

I like everything about it. Great sounds, easy to use and has a built in tuner, what's not to like.

Great GK sound. Love this pre amp. Tuner just OK but overall it’s a great pedal.

Nice piece of equipment; straightforward operation and well designed. I don’t have much experience with effects pedals, but a wide range of sounds can be obtained. The tuner is on point. The preamp is great for use where a sound system is available and a personal amp is not required (I used to use my MB-200 like that when appropriate). It would have been nice to be able to save settings for greater flexibility.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS THING! This is quite possibly the most versatile tool for any bassist. The tonal control is unmatched. I wish I'd purchased it sooner.
