CMIII does it again!
Carlton’s latest, just released and another winner! It started slow, delicate, and I was not convinced, but as the story progressed, far beyond his usual page count, it was a worthy read.Okay, the review.Elliot is a fairy. In Grub Town, that is not a good thing, it screams victim, and sooner or later, you ended up kidnapped and working in the sex trade. Fairies had various disadvantages in that respect. They were pretty, they could change gender, their wings gave off fairy dust that was a turn on, and so it was not good to be a fairy in a world where sex was a commodity. His one great desire was Oona the Octomaid and the tattoos she slowly but surely was covering his body with. One particularly bad evening on the way to get a tattoo from his dream true love, Oona, he stops off at his usual club. A strip club attached to the tattoo parlour, and spends some time with his friends, the twin Lamia`s Taka and Tiki. Unfort for him, the mob boss of the elves firstborn was in and looking for some fairy flesh.Things could only go downhill from here. While getting the tattoo, the drunk son of the mob boss demands Elliot has sex with him. This causes a fight, and in the end, Elliot wielding a secret weapon, has managed to kill the son and his two guards. From here they run, seeking safety, but where do you run when two of the four criminal houses are after you, dead, not alive!Elliot finds some happiness, finally in the arms of Oona before the bad guys capture them, each offers themselves to spare the other, but since when do bad guys play fair. Instead, the story becomes a cross between the movies the Punisher and Scarface. Blood flows and dynasties fall. This is a beautiful story about love, almost Shakespearean, love between a woman half-octopus and a delicate fairy. There is a lot more to the story, but YOU need to read this. It has all the best elements that CMIII adds to his work, the humour, whimsy, sexiness and moral message. How can you fail to like this.In the end, when Oona has to return to the sea, the story becomes full circle, and we discover the tale of their first meeting many years before when both were but children.Love it, read it, enjoy it!

A Gutterpunk Gangland Fairytale
Full Metal Octopus is a sleazy punk rock gangland fairytale about a lovestruck five-foot-tall tattoed fairy and his giantess octomaid tattoo artist crush, packed with inky sex scenes and cartoonish hyper-violence. It's like if you took an off-ramp from Narnia and ended up in Sin City, and if it were a movie, it could only be made 90s style, with claustrophobic dystopian decay and prosthetic rubber suits.
