I love the relief that I received after just one use of the massage feature. Even more relief after using the TENS pulse muscle stimulator. I had a pinched nerve/stiff neck with pain and had a hard time turning my head without pain. After a couple of sessions with the neck massage and then the TENS stimulator, I had so much relief. I am very happy with my purchase.Cons: the instructions don't really let you know how the device works and the settings The heating elements are very hot a a bit uncomfortable, so can't leave them on the entire time.Not soft for a travel pillow, but I believe the stiffness is needed for the TENS and massager to work

I really wanted to love this neck pillow. The support is okay. A little too firm. However, the main reason we got this was for the massaging function. It is horrible! It feels like your getting shocked. I thought it was me just me being overly sensitive but no…I had multiple people try the massage function and they all said the same thing. So unless you enjoy getting shocked waves on your neck I do not recommend.

I ordered this looking of a way to help with some muscle pain in my neck from working at a desk all day. After using for I soon noticed a difference in the muscle pain in my neck. The heat works good as well.

The Comfier Travel/Neck Massage Pillow has multiple uses. The most basic is as a travel pillow. But as a neck massager, it has several differing functions. One function is as a TENS pulse massager. TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. TENS works by sending electrical impulses through the skin to reach the muscle, easing pain and increasing blood flow. However, the electrode plates must touch your skin, so it won’t work if you’re wearing a turtleneck, scarf, your hair is covering your neck, or some other impediment to skin contact. The varying intensities are excellent and give you many options of combinations. In my experience, if you use the heat and TENS pulse simultaneously on your bare skin, it becomes a bit unbearable. Better to do heat with vibration simultaneously. All the functions are nice. After using it the first time, the chronic tightness I was experiencing from turning my head to the left (over my shoulder) had improved.

When I got my pillow I was super excited! I took it out of its packaging and immediately onto the charger. I used it that 1st night. Here's the deal - When I turned on the heat/massage (prior to putting it on my neck), the silver heating plates shocked me from a small touch. Once I put it on my neck, it was approximately 5 minutes before I couldn't bear the heat. The 2 plates get extremely hot and they touch directly against your skin. They do not have covers or hide within the pillow itself. It burns and you only get heat in those 2 areas, which are right next to each other on your neck. Massager itself seems ok. Not super impressed, likely to return. Does not help my neck/head relax as I'd hoped it would.

I suffer from tension headaches and migraines, and this pillow has given me so much relief. I have purchased two additional pillows and recommended for family and friends!

I have loved this pillow for relaxing at the end of long days studying. The tens unit is great for a stiff neck. The heat setting does get pretty hot and I have to alternate turning it off and on but overall I love this pillow!
