got me over my fear of 1st time trying hand controls
Ive never needed hand controls till now but cant avoid any longer. I wanted to know if my brain could adapt before i even reached out to DMV. These were affordable enough to take that half step down the path, without going all in. Need a knee pad to get them on but ita quick. I have euro car so am getting the euro clamp but regular will clamp onto VERTICAL SIDE of gas pedal, thanks guys for the photo demo.Day one was an abandoned parking lot and i was having fun like at amusement park -not scary like i had feared, day 2 was back roads in quiet corcer of suburbia, day 3 was a state park up to 30mph. Totally doable and now its time to talk to dvm, backward from most people i know, but i didnt want to be sobbing and freaked out w dmv trainer. I hope they let me keep my quickstik!!! I use rhe silicone snap on wheel spinner for $10 it works better cheaper and much easier install than the wrench and screw type ones. Ive been dreading this day for years now but i think it might actual be fun to drive again. Who knows. The only issue with these is a rotation in the hand and sometimes the hand part gets “stuck in” the steering wheel but hopefully i learn the right wrist position. It’s already happening less. Wish me luck !

Good quality & functional
These are well worth the money, I went from not being able to drive to driving in less than 10 mins. They’re very adjustable, and sturdy

Very convenient for all disables
Very easy to install super easy to use. Does not jam up between the handle or the push button like other brand I have tried. It’s a bit pricey but after using other brands this is definitely safer. Compatible with most motor vehicles. I highly recommend. Well worth the extra money compared to other brand.

Initially costly but priceless in the long run
The media could not be loaded. After having my right leg amputated above the knee 2.5 years ago, I purchased the QuicStick with hope of returning to manual transmissions. Despite these hand controls being overly expensive for what they are, I can’t put a price on the joy of being able to “comfortably” drive a stick again. The installation is simple and straightforward. There’s a wide range of adjustments to suit most cars and drivers. The hand grip is comfortable and provides decent feedback on pedal position. It could be improved upon in certain areas such as the slack in the joints themself which make rev matching on downshifts feel somewhat disconnected but still manageable. Also the size and thickness of the mounting plates to the pedals could be trimmed some but for 99% of drivers out there, they will suffice in their standard configuration. Keep in mind that I purchased this product solely at my own discretion for the operation of manual transmission equipped vehicles. Your results may vary.

I have freedom again!
I suffered a right ankle fracture and am currently unable to drive normally. I bought these for a chance at being able to simply get out of the house and regain some normalcy until I'm fully healed. This product has been a game changer! It took some practice, but these are super easy to use once you get the hang of it. Installation took about 20 minutes and was fairly easy (getting the poles adjusted took the most amount of time). Very thankful for finding this product.

Design flaw causing accelleration instead of braking!
My husband has been using the QuicStick Hand Controls for the past 6 months. On his previous van, we had installed permanent hand controls which were super simple and completely solid. He never worried about them failing. When we bought a new car for me, I passed my Kia Sorrento onto him. I watched the videos for installation multiple times and have checked the tightness of the bolts for him regularly. Since my husband started using the QuicStick controls in the Kia, he has been on one accident and was almost in another today. In both instances, he attempted to brake, but some action caused unexpected acceleration. We cannot figure out if this was due to the sticks crossing or some sort of problem with the accelerator button and the brake bar. Either way, we will not be using these controls after tomorrow. He is taking his car and we are paying for permanent controls to be installed. Being cheap is not worth the anxiety of potential and actual accidents.

Slides off gas pedal 2016 F150
I bought these to switch between vehicles in the case I need to help drive. These slide off 2016 F150 and 2018. No matter how tight I screw them down.
