I purchased this b/c I wanted tahini for use in making hummus and the chocolate variety for use as a healthier chocolate spread choice. They taste great and they thicken a bit in the refrigerator. The cost for the quality and variety of tahini is very good. The tahini is fresh and creamy. A bit of separation but you just shake or stir the jars. Delicious!

Bought this set because it was cheaper than buying individually (I initially only wanted the chocolate, but I figured I could use the plain tahini for sesame noodles or for hummus.) Also, my daughter used to love Nutella but has developed an allergy to hazelnuts, so we thought we would try this. IT TASTES SO GOOD! There's a slightly earthy smell, due to the sesame, but it's a very similar smell to nuts, so it doesn't affect taste. It's sweet, but not too sweet. I could honestly eat the whole jar. My only complaint is that it's a little pricey. I think for an occasional treat, I could justify spending the money.

Love both of these but the sesame chocolate spread is a real standout! Only drawback is the difficulty of mixing as both are very stiff at first But so worth it!

I'm on a journey to improving my health, and am working on trying new, healthier foods. I've only ever had tahini as a part of something else, never on its own. I did some research, which seem to clearly point to Soom as the best tahini out there.The first flavor that I tried was the chocolate tahini. I am in love! It's better than Nutella (which I haven't eaten in ages), and actually has some health benefits to offer. I immediately signed up for a monthly subscription for this and the dark chocolate with sea salt.Next I tried the regular tahini. It has a great texture, and a good flavor--I think it will just need some getting used to. I have a number of recipes that call for it, and I'm looking forward to using it in them.I did not have any issues with the jars leaking, as some others have mentioned in reviews. Everything was packaged very well. It's also great to know that the purchase supports a small, women-owned business.

Tastes great. Not sure how all that oil is just from sesame seeds...when I try to make tahini I hardly get any oil. The big disappointment for me was the containers ... they were leaking but not sure from where as they appeared sealed. The oil was actually all the way through to the outside of the shipping box. The containers are a very flimsy plastic which concerns me about the possibility of residual solvents and plasticizers possibly leaching into the oil. It does taste fine however so maybe my concern is unwarranted.

Best Tahini you can buy. Wonderful taste and texture. Perfect for savory and sweet.

With only 3 ingredients, not too much sugar, and so tasty - Why buying all the poison out there????
