It fired right up, felt solid in hand, and handled the job without any problems. One thing I immediately liked is that it feels compact and manageable without feeling underpowered. Some smaller grinders feel weak once you actually put them under load, but this one seemed to have plenty of power for normal cutting and grinding work around the garage and property. I actually used it to cut a PTO shaft down to length for tractor equipment setup, and it handled the job much easier than I expected. It cut through cleanly without bogging down, and the grinder felt stable and controllable during the cut. The included hard case is also a nice bonus because it keeps everything together instead of ending up with loose wheels and accessories scattered around the workshop. Having extra grinding wheels included right away was convenient too. The grinder itself feels lightweight enough that it’s comfortable to handle, especially for tighter spaces or smaller projects where a giant heavy grinder would just be awkward. The grip and balance also felt pretty natural during use. Obviously I can’t speak to long-term durability yet after only limited use, but based on first impressions this seems like a very solid option for DIY work, farm repairs, metal cleanup, cutting bolts, or general garage use.
