This thing could light up an entire warehouse and then some. I am not exaggerating, I am partially blind after setting this thing up and messing with the settings while standing on the wrong side of it.Other than that, this is a great package. The stand is stable, however the fittings weren't great, almost seemed like an afterthought in the design process. However, they do work.The light itself comes in a good little carry bag and takes seconds to set up, once you know what you're doing. I would say this is very much a professional grade bit of kit, not your standard ten a penny light ring.The app is OK, the set up is easy and it was very quick to pair. As was the Bluetooth remote. The app has some nice features, if you're into film and need some dramatic scene's, however they aren't customisable unfortunately. Other than that very responsive. Of course you don't need the app to get the use out of this, you can control it directly from the light and gives you some handy information while doing so. Perfect for a tiktok/youtuber, I myself will be using it for photography and film. Would recommend.

Absolutely love this ring light, feels more technical and advanced from my previous one. Its perfect for anyone who loves taking photos. Everything is well packaged. Unboxing I was pleasantly surprised with the size and quality of it. You get an 18 inch ring light, fully adjustable tripod, bluetooth shutter remote, phone holder, ball head, power cord and large carry bag. The stand feel well made and of good quality, set to which ever height you want it. The light is powered by a cable you plug in the back of the lamp and into a socket. The light easily attaches to the stand and can be set to the angle you require. The ring loads of different modes. With 2 adjustable dials on the back, each mode can be adjusted and set to how you want it. Theres a little display screen on the back which is easy to view and see what you're adjusting. Rasy to operate. The tripod can be set at multiples of height levels. The phone mount can be positioned in inside the light ring, it stretches open, to give a universal fit to most phone widths. It holds your phone securely in place. The bluetooth remote is easy to connect to your phone. I just turned my bluetooth on and it showed up and paired straight away. With a simple press of the remote button, you can take a photo without having to press your phone, making it so much easier. It comes with a massive black zip up carry case, so you can store everything together inside. The overall set up is really easy with no hassle. It all feels really well made and of good quality. Absolutely love this set. Perfect for taking and enhancing photos and videos. Would reccomend without hesitation.

Of course, there are hundreds of ring lights around so it’s entirely up to you which suits your needs best - I’d say this one is better for the more professional photographer or vlogger or whatever. It’s powerful, well built and easy to use with the app or Bluetooth or the led display at the back of the light.But…quite apart from the cost, currently £149, it’s one of the higher cost models and I’m not convinced it’s worth that. The description is misleading, as my fellow reviewer has pointed out - this won’t display the full colour spectrum. Rather, it will flash from one colour to the next, or you can create the colour shade and variation you need. So it has versatility which is good, just not quite as shown. And I suspect most users would simply switch to the warm or cool white hues to get the light impact they need.The ring light itself has a carry case but not the stand. Now, forgive my naïveté, but surely the stand is the most awkward part to lug around? And surely the ring light itself needs more protection than a standard carry case? If I was spending this much, I’d want a decent case for the stand and a fully protective, padded bag for the light.I can’t give this more than 3 stars, I’m sorry - it’s pricey and I’m not convinced it has the value.

This is a great ring light. The colour control particularly with the accompanying app is very cool.The app is easy to pair with bluetooth and that means it has decent line of sight range.The knobs and the display are digital and it is pretty easy to move through settings on there too.The stand is sturdy but not air-cushioned.I think some of the product photos on the product listing are a little bit misleading. You cannot set this to more than one colour at a time. The closest is the scene options where it can flash between colours.It is clever that they put the power connection at the bottom to prevent cable strain although the other ring light I have just used a right angled cable to the same effect.It is hard not to compare this with our IVISII ring light from 2 years ago. It seems to have improved light quality, it's not just different colours of white and it can be controlled by an app. So for that I think it is worth the now £40 difference. Of course if you don't need colours or app control then you can save your money with the other one.
