Great Product - Instructions Would make better
The product is wonderful, but this was my first time using these. Including instructions on use would be amazing. I was under the impression that crimping was required for the cores onto the wire, as larger coax cables require that. It seems that was unnecessary, and based on wire strip lengths the core will fit onto the wire as required.I unfortunately used 9/10 cores for only 2 fittings as I was learning.It would be great if more cores could be included, or we could by the cores separately to replenish for mistakes. I still have 8 good fittings but only 1 core.Will definitely buy again, but I hope that you also make the cores an options also.

They work well
I bought these to build out 2m/70cm QRP antennas and found that when paired with the Eightwood RG-316 coax, you can solder the center sleeve to roughly 3-4mm of the center conductor and the conductor and insulator will slide into the inner collar of the shield crimp sleeve giving a nice safety keeping the shield from touching the center conductor. Assembly is as easy or easier than a PL-259. I've used these with Baofeng, Retevis, and Yaesu radios with no thread or pin fitment issues.
