Roll Dough Like A Pro
At firstI thought this was not something I really needed. Boy was I wrong. The various measurements let me see just how far I need to go to roll out my crust that will actually fit my pan, whether an individual pie or a larger slab pie (for church function or to feed lots of company).It serves as the working surface and not on the kitchen counter. I can cut out biscuits or cut out cookies, or knead breads, etc.It has a good thickness to it. The different printed circles go for making pies or even as large to rollout homeade pizza or puff pastry dough. Easy to clean, to store and use over and over.

Love this thing!
So I never used to use any sort of mat for my baking - I'd just flour a surface and go. But after using my friend's baking mat (oldschool plastic, slid everywhere, had to hold it down in the corners from keeping it from popping up), I thought it would be helpful to have one of these for all the baking I do. Took a chance on this one, and SO GLAD that I did! This thing is worlds better than the old school baking mats that my friend has. This thing sticks to the counter, so there's no wiggling around when kneading dough. Although I store it rolled, it doesn't retain the rolled shape, so when I put it down I don't have to have hold down the corners with whatever I have handy (usually a bag of flour, the can of crisco, the loaf pan, and whatever else was handy).All in all, a fantastic purchase, well worth the money, and I can see getting years of use out of this.

Does exactly what you would expect and does it well
This purchase was actually my second Dania and Dean baking mat. My daughter saw mine and wanted a smaller version. I was able to tell her how convenient, clear and easy to read the markings are. How easy it is to clean. How stable it is-which she was able to see herself. The size fits her counters while mine fits my island. Dough rolls easily.

Perfect
I've had a baking mat for around 40 years that is a harder plastic and is starting to peel. I had to store it upright in a tall cabinet and it was not the most convenient. I saw this new mat and watched a video where they rolled it up and folded it in half and stored it in a drawer! It was just what I needed. It is absolutely perfect, I love the flexibility and it's been great for all my dough and pastry projects.

A must have for making biscuits. Stays perfectly in place with its no slip coating and helps keep the counter clean. Its easy to clean and rolls up without taking up too much space.
