This is exactly what I was looking for. It’s very lightweight but stable and sturdy. It’s got a large surface so plenty of room for eating or craft activities for mom. The fold down tray means it easily hides out of sight between uses. It’s fully adjustable and works well with both regular chairs and wheelchairs. The cup holder does not hold a bottle of water—that will fall through the bottom hole. Instead it is designed for cups that are narrower at the bottom than at the top. Overall a great purchase and glad to have gotten it!

Multi purpose. Use as a movable ‘desk’ in front of my easy chair. Holds my cell phone, iPad, notepads, etc. Also use for meals in front of TV or while eating and working on iPad or mac book. Will not support one’s weight. But very easy to pull forward or push back out of way. Nice size and very convenient for a senior like me.

What a wonderful table for crafts...the table is easily assembled and adjusts to your needs with height and tilting positing of the table surface. I used it today for the first time and cannot believe how my shoulders and neck are able to find a comfortable position with the positioning of the table. There is an ability to adjust the table to 4 different heights and the table top is easily adjusted to 3 different positions in tilting to meet your needs while working your crafts.The Table Mate easily folded for storage and is very light in handling, slipping easily under the couch for storage.The Table Mate easily becomes a desk for writing cards and letters or comfortable positioning for reading.I highly recommend the Table Mate for any task or craft that allows for sitting allowing you to select your seating arrangements with ease as you slide the TableMate for comfort and task...Enjoy this GEM in your life!

This little table is exactly what I needed, and overall I'm extremely pleased with it.The reason I'm deducting 2 stars is the same reason others have mentioned: The two little plastic ends on the very edge of the table on the left side (when it's turned over) were both broken off. The first time I was like "ok that's fine, no biggie, let me get a replacement". I would have easily given it 4 stars at that point, maybe 5.The replacement arrived yesterday ... and straight out of the box the same exact two little plastic ends on the very edge of the table on the left side are ALSO broken!!!!At this point I'm not going to bother with a re-replacement, because I decided to just stick with my original table and glue the two plastic bits on. I don't use the setting that would require me to use those notches, but with the table over my lap, the plastic does jab me in the knee from time to time, which is not comfortable. And I'm not going to risk having a third table shipped, only to find other bits broken.Overall rating:1. Well designed.2. Sturdy (the pro extra-wide has let reinforcements which make a big difference, I use it for my keyboard/mouse and it's great for that purpose. I can rest my elbows on it and it holds up well.3. A bit overpriced (by about 10 bucks give or take).4. Terrible quality control/shipping department. They need to really wrap the plastic bits better and make sure they don't get knocked around in the box, which is probably how those two pieces end up breaking. Simple carboard or bubble wrap taped around that side of things would probably work just fine. You would think after having to replace so many units for the same reason, somebody would pay attention and rectify that vulnerability.It's a really nice little dinner tray/sofa table, but order at your own risk, and inspect it when it arrives.

This table mate (xl pro) is outstanding! I have an old one from years back, and this one is so much better. It's bigger and better. I use it with my tablet which I am using for entertainment. I bought another for my meals (lg plus), and another (lg pro) for additional desk space at my desk.This one is so much sturdier. I could really use something like this to put up against the wall near my bed. But there's too much space needed in the back to accommodate the legs. If you straighten the legs in the back, I will buy it!There's just one thing that I never needed with my old one, and I don't need it now. It's the beverage holder! Bet you couldn't guess that one. <wink> It's a waste of resources on the part of the makers and such a waste in the cost to the consumer. Eliminate the beverage holder and lower the price!This table is not perfect but nothing in this world is. It's perfect for me in how I use it.
