The color selection is great, and the paper is very nice, however the quality of the paint is slightly below average.

I have no business reviewing this as all I've done is open it and look at it, but unless the paints are bad, WOW! It's GORGEOUS! The packaging is so amazing, useful and so high end cool. The colors are in this cool tin container and they look SO DREAMY BEAUTIFUL! It comes with some watercolor papers and the water brush pens, a paintbrush and a sketch pencil. I'm looking forward to time to try it out, but for now, I keep going back to it and opening it just to enjoy how it all looks and works. 10 STARS! LOL but joke's on me if it turns out the paint's no good. But I expect it to be up to the standard of the presentation and generous accessories. Well done! SO GORGEOUS!

Did use these paints in a journal. Turned out very nice. Very easy to work with. Got the paints on time also. Would buy again. Have not tried the paper yet
