Maharana Pratap: The Invincible Warrior

Not enough information about Maharana Pratap
There was a lot of irrelevant information that did not pertain to the glorification of Maharana Pratap. The chapters also went on a tangent of other characters and the information at times became scattered and uninteresting as it didn’t relate to Pratap’s life as much. There was other information about Maharana Pratap and his tactics that were quite interesting and backed with factual information/sources. I enjoyed those parts.

An easy read that gives the essential background to this Indian hero.
I just wanted to know more about Maharana Pratap without having to delve too deeply into the times. This book is excellent for that purpose. Of course, it whet my appetite for learning more about the times, places and people of this crucial period in the history of the sub-continent. I enjoyed the book very much. I wish there were better maps.

More focus on praising Akbar and many Valour Acts of Maharana Pratap Ji Is completely missing
Book focus more on merits of Akbar than Maharana Pratap Ji. Many of Maharana's Valour acts are completely missing or written as if they are just stories by Maharana's fellow courtmen. Definitely needs an unbiased expert historian's view on this

A book for beginners
If you are very much interested in Maharana Pratap and in need for quick read then it is the one for you! Very very short you can finish the book in 2 hours or 3 hours (hope you are in a flight and no one to disturb) because it is written beautifully and very precise. No biases and no political drama can be find in this book certainly it depicted the history in a way that it should be and what actually happened. After reading this and gaining some info you can go for seminal works of Dr. Rima Hooja like History of Rajasthan or Kesri Singh’s book ‘Maharana Pratap: Hero of Haldighati’. Hope you enjoy your day :)

Ill researched, poorly written and definitely not about Maharana ji
Ill researched book. Author hardly gives any insights on Maharana Pratap's life. Instead she focused more on Akbar's life and his tactics. May be because Akbar's stories are widely available. Very poorely written as well. At the end of it I ended up wasting my time and money in this book. Please avoid this crap if u really want to know about Maharana. I again need to search for good book to understand the great Maharana.
