I am loving this little set. The “jewels” are large and bright. Perfect for little hands to hold (and too big to be a choking hazard if they tried to taste them) The “treasure chest” they come in is quite a nice wooden box with a little metal latch. I got them for the pool but so far The 2 and 4 year old LOVE hiding the jewels and then going on treasure hunts in the house. It has kept them entertained for hours at a time. So the jewels haven’t even made it to the pool yet.My only suggestion would be to leave the wooden chest in the house if you take the jewels to the pool because it is wood and doesn’t appear to have any type of water proof finish on it.

We LOVE these gems. They’re so much fun to use in the pool and are always a hit with friends and guests. Great quality and perfect size for kids to hunt for in the pool. Highly recommend!

My kids have definitely been entertained by these. They’re 5 and 8 and it’s been fun diving for them. They’re large enough they are easy to grab. However, they’re just big enough that they can really only play with maybe 2-3 at once before it’s to many to hold in their hands. The wooden trunk is so cute but not necessarily durable for pool toys. We use it inside to hold my son’s little treasure and have the gems in a separate pool friendly bag.

My kids love these! They were such a hit and a steal for the price. The gems are great colors and the box is high quality. The gems are a little sharp at the point though so just be careful. Great for treasure hunts!

I am a swimmer, swim instructor, have a pool, and 3 boys (ages 5, 8, 13) who are swimmers. We have many diving rings/games, but I got these because my 5 year old is still learning about breath control in the water, and my other sons were too quick getting the rings; he was getting discouraged. There are a decent amount of gems in the box, and he was so happy to get 2-3 out of the 15. I see others have commented that the gems are easily scratched and/or chipped; they are plastic, so it’s to be expected and doesn’t bother my kids. They are sturdy and durable, though; my kids were throwing them out of the pool onto the concrete. I also tell them to keep the treasure chest out of the water because it doesn’t feel like it would take constant water exposure well (not quite wood, not plastic). The learning achieved through play is the most important to me. In less than 2 weeks, my youngest can now get 3-6 gems in one breath and doesn’t hesitate to go under head first. He is playing while learning his limits, and to me as a mother, the joy and comfort of watching your child learn that the water is fun but also something you need to be careful around/learn your limits is priceless. For my older kids, this is just a new game that is different from the rings they use, and I’ve noticed more imaginative play from them in using these.Highly recommend, very happy with them.

The diving gems are colorful and fun, and the set has a lot of potential for pool play. However, the included wooden and metal box is not waterproof, which is disappointing for a pool toy. It looks nice, but isn’t practical for long-term storage or poolside use. A more durable, water-safe container would make this a much better value.
