Good to make patches for ball gloves

I ordered two pieces of the white vinyl because I need to make a cap, and the pieces did not match at all. the colors were off-one looking a bit more gray and the textures and thickness did not match. There was nothing stating that the pieces may be different. Damn..... :( Otherwise the pieces on their own were nice.

It is not great quality. It worked fine for what I needed, but it looks and feels like pleather, my friends don't believe me that it's real, and it just doesn't feel sturdy
