Nice Hatchet
She’s a beaut for the price. Nice handle what seems to be a good stain/coating. I used it for a couple of pack trips and it’s a good weight for firewood and trimming limbs if needed.

Great for throwing!
I bought these to throw at work (I work at an axe throwing place), and they have been brutalized and abused, both by customers and by myself as I tried to test how durable they are. They come with the metal head seated maybe 80% on the wooden handle and the rest of the eye of the head filled with a black epoxy. I saw some cracking on that epoxy after a month or so on 1 of the 2 I bought, and the other started to crack 5 months into use. The head, even with NO epoxy left in the eye, will NOT budge. I've been trying to get it to wiggle off the handle, and I've gotten a little front to back wiggle upon throwing and contact with the target, but I cannot wiggle it by hand. It's been 6 months and only one of them is even close to breaking. They're lighter than Kobalts and a little longer, so they rotate slower, but only slightly. The flatness on the sides of the handles give a good grip and control during the throw, even with larger hands.Good product, considering buying more for when these finally do go to the pasture, but I've only bought two, and I'm sure there will be a couple of bad eggs if I were to buy a lot of them. I'd say that honestly, the worst part of these is the epoxy cap in the eye of the head. They could have just seated the head all the way down on the handle and wedged it like everybody else does, but I guess whatever they have done, it's working. These things have survived the worst abuse I could throw at them for more than half a year. If you were to remove that epoxy, seat the head down more on the handle, and then wedge the eye to secure the fit, I bet these would be really solid. 9/10, easily.

Looks ok, but dull
Very dull. I was planning on using it right away, but was too dull. Was forced to use plan B. It will take 15 to 20 min to get this thing in shape. Disappointing

Works for what we needed
Used while camping to cut wood up. It came with a cover on the blade which is cool. Was packed well and in a pretty decent box.

Good shape and weight
I purchased this to do some engraving for a new hobby. The axe head is beautifully shaped and feels good in the swing.I hope to use this for throwing. There are some other axes available from other sellers with similar shaped heads. This one was ready to go out of the box, plenty of sharp edge if you are using this for sporting. A little touch up and it’s good to go if you need this for actual wilderness type work, splitting smaller firewood or maybe clearing growth as one might with a hatchet. Secured really well to the handle. Great for the price!

Cheap...effective way to get fire wood backpacking
Light....sharp...not sure how long it will hold up but can't beat it for the price
