I spliced into the Parking lights instead so have to turn those on to use during the day. Something they don't mention is the way the lights work for brights. There is a motorized mirror in the headlights. When you use brights the mirror inside flips to give you full bulb wattage. So these headlights are designed for single bulbs only. Your old bulbs will not work. The H11 bulbs I used were purchased online and had a specific ring before the bulb in order for the retaining ring to hold the bulbs securely.
