Compact utensil for backpacking
This is the perfect utensil for an affordable, lightweight and durable backpacking cook kit for one person. With my soda can alcohol stove and steel cup, total cook kit weight is just over 8 oz. without fuel. This utensil folds up perfectly inside the cup with all the other items and leaves room to spare. Add a bandanna to keep things from rattling around, to handle hot items and dry them after cleaning. This utensil will fit in a similar configuration in titanium cups. Fits perfectly in my 550ml with a BRS gas stove and a small fuel canister. This utensil is durable. Make sure to push the band on the handle towards the cup of the spork to lock the hinge in place. Push that band down and the hinge will hold while stirring, eating and scraping. The handle detaches easily from the body for cleaning. No worries about food debris collecting in the hinge.

Worth it.
Nice little Spork, VERY lightweight, and compact. Feels sturdy, and has held up for a few meals thus far, with no sign of failure in sight. The teeth of the 'fork' portion are pronounced enough to grab food, but not enough so they poke holes in my camping bag. Would definitely buy again, and recommend to friends. Love it! If I could change any thing on this Spork; It would be to round off the handles pieces (tips/stubs) that stick out of the sides. It would be more comfortable to grip, and snag less when putting it in a tight space. It's a very easy fix to do yourself if you have a hardened steel file (or better) lying around; Just make sure to not take off too much material, or else it may not hold together very well anymore! :)

Great spork if you want a folding unit
Great spork if you want a folding unit. Lightweight, small folded size, good extended size. Though not really designed to get to the bottom of a meal pouch, it's a great size to use in a bowl/cup/plate. For those who fear that the handle will not be supportive, just remember to slide the little collar on the handle down toward the utensil body. This locks the bail handle from compressing and creates a good strong handle. Fits in my smallest backpacking mug, is light, doesn't impart any weird flavors and has the great thermal properties of Ti. Spoon is a good size and comfortable to eat from and the spork tines are good at picking food up but don't interfere with the spoon. Good, functional design. Totally worth the very reasonable cost. You won't go wrong choosing this spork.

The mechanism is very secure when properly used. Good spork, slightly heavier than S2S spork but this one folds
Appears to be full titanium (including the handle) which is nice. The mechanism is secure, contrarily to many reviews that I read - some people mentioned you have to push the tab to secure it and I wondered if that was sufficient before buying. It absolutely is. there is no play and I can apply a LOT of force without the spoon folding. I'm pretty sure I'd have to push hard enough to bend the metal before the mechanism gives up. Now, while its convenient because it stores small it is heavier than, say, a S2S aluminum spoon and slightly less nice to hold. Basically, if you want reasonably light, sturdy and small form factor when folded this is it. If you don't care about folded size, go with the S2S.

Great for Travel
I've been wanting a travel spork, since I'm a bit tired of carrying around full-sized silverware. It definitely works, but since I travel often, I wanted something more compact. I did a lot of searching, and decided on this one because it's made of titanium and wasn't quite as pricey as others. The plastic wrapped spork came in a carrying bag. The bag is great as long as you have a place to wash the spork. Otherwise, the dirty spork will soil the bag, and you'll have to wash it-- you'll want to wash it anyway, but soiled bags mean washing more often. I wrap mine in a beeswax wrap; Ziploc bags work just as well, but I'm trying to avoid using them as much as possible. The spork itself is very durable and easy to wash. I haven't tried it with soup yet, but it works well for other foods. As long as the bar on the handle is down far enough, the spork shouldn't bend at all during use. The one thing that I didn't care for is the texture of the metal. It's similar to the feel of a chalkboard, but that doesn't outweigh the pros, in my opinion. It's also something that takes getting used to, like no longer using plastic straws. In summation, the spork does what it's supposed to do, is easy to clean, doesn't bend during use (provided it has been set up properly), is portable and lightweight, and so far there have been no signs of corrosion. Update: The spork is holding up (admittedly it’s only been a few days since my first review, and the initial review took awhile for approval). I didn’t mention this before, but for transparency sake, 5-star reviews gets you a free item. Does it work? I’m not sure, but if the second product comes in, I’ll update again. Was the spork really worth a 5-star review? For me, yes. I haven’t used any other types (i.e. spoon, etc.), so I can’t compare the quality.
