How long does the backup power last?

I wrote a simple script in python to count and write to a text file, I ran that and put on a 10 hour video from YouTube. It lasted 3ish hours while running a daily 7” display.

Yes it does, you just have to bust a hole on the bottom for the battery to plug into the mother board, I can upload pictures if you want, I've made it.

Can this also be used for pi zero?

No. You want the regular PiSugar 2, not the PiSugar Pro.
