Not worth it
Battery drains very fast. It detects accurately however false alarms happen if sensitivity is too high. Go for some other good brand.

WOW Awesome Pinpointer !!!
I have had a few name brand Pinpointers and this HS-10 Pinpointer is Awesome and works just like the Pinpointers over $100 the HS-10 is only $50 and it is waterproof, Led light and digital screen that is just crazy ! I Highly recommend this Pinpointer !!!!

LCD is Worthless
Had to replace an aging Garrett Pro due to off-target chatter or 'falsing' . The 'Pudibe' as it's called reared it's head right out of the box. The LCD feature which is a unique feature indeed cannot be seen in direct sunlight- and is in effect 'worthless' unless You enjoy hunting-by-night. In addition- the battery drain is substantial- killing the provided cheap battery in one outing. A true alkaline cell didn't fare much better. Target recognition is weak and wasconfounded by off-target 'chirps' which frustrates your search. I've returned this $50 China Toy and ordered/ received a German made Deteknix ($89) from Amazon which exceeds in My opinion, the Garrett Carrot.

Dad loves it
I bought this for my dad for his birthday, and he is loving it. The LCD screen and light are an upgrade from his previous one and let's him find things faster and easier.
