Work wonderfully - recommend for fungus gnats
I really like these as they are sturdy (stand up well in the soil and can be bent over to an angle if too near leaves). They are the right thickness, large enough without being too big, and VERY adhesive. They are also nicely packaged. I have been fighting with fungus gnats on a few plants due to some bad potting soil, and these were perfect to keep the situation under control and from spreading to other plants until I could transplant and chemically treat. After transplanting and treating, I put new traps in to check that I remedied the situation, and they caught the residual one or two gnats per plant that must have been on the leaves. Simple idea, but well executed. All-in-all, a great product!

Fungus gnat sticky traps
These are absolutely wonderful. I have never had trouble with fungus gnats in my house plants until this year. They have driven me crazy but within less than 30 seconds of placing these sticky catchers in my eight planters they began to get spotted with the gnats. I am in awe at how many gnats were in the soil and more getting stuck every second. Thank you ever so much and I loved the little shovel. Such a good product.

Very sticky!!
Knats galore!! Very easy to use and have captured a ton of knats. Very sticky - if you have longer hair beware! I’ve bent over a plantar and more times than I care to disclose and stood up to have these very stuck in my hair!

12 is not much, but they work
The media could not be loaded. These things stayed in the soil pretty well, there was a bit of an issue with removing the backing from second side if you’d already put the thing into the soil (in order to prevent the sticky sides from sticking to everything, some of us get the brilliant idea that we will just leave it covered until it’s in the plant, THEN take it off- and that don’t work. It won’t come off easily and I bet you 8 American dollars you’ll end up getting soil all over the place or getting it stuck to a leaf anyway if you try) since these things are prohibitively expensive, I cut mine in half right down the center, and I found they worked just fine this way. I made them stretch further that way. I just don’t think 12 is enough for a pack for this price, but if it were 24 I’d be perfectly satisfied. The cats are cute, they stay sticky after getting them wet, and aren’t too too much of an eyesore. These traps are only diagnostic tools, they can’t manage a fungus gnat population alone. I’m using these along with bti, systemic granules, top dressings, and dark magic to get my little turds under control

Flies are GONE!
I recently purchased some new plants and didn't realize I had also purchased some flies along with them. Fortunately, they were in an enclosed space but with these, I was able to rid the entire cabinet of flies! Even misting didn't seem to remove the stickiness or reduce their effectiveness in any way! They come in a decent-sized pack as well so it's definitely a good cost. I will be purchasing more once I run out!

Very sticky!
These are very sticky and do a good job of trapping gnats. (However, you still need to treat the soil or let the soil dry out as gnats will continue to lay eggs in the moist soil and then you get more gnats. This is not a criticism of the product. I'm just mentioning this in case you don't know that it's a two step process). You might want to order more traps than you think you will need. Once the gnats get stuck on the traps the trap looks a bit gross, so I change my out fairly frequently.

WON'T STAY STUCK!!!!
After reading the reviews I decided to try these for gnats in my houseplants. I am trying to decide whether or not I am going to return these because they did manage to catch some gnats but the problem is the sticks won't stay stuck!!! As soon as I stick the sticks on the back of the traps within minutes they fall off. I have had to put tape on all of them to keep the stick on the traps. For this reason I am disappointed and might just continue to use my soap and water and vinegar to trap these gnats. What a nuisance!!!!

Catches lots of fruitflies if placed right
Arrived in a good time. Very sticky but I have seen a couple of flies take a few steps before getting stuck. The fruitflies flock to them if you put them in the right place. Ours are on the trash can next to the opening, on the fruit basket & in a small canning jar with vinegar & soap in it. They're large enough to catch a lot of fruitflies but small & cute enough to be discreet. It only caught 1 regular housefly, but our main problem is fruitflies, so it works great for us.
