Whatever, my dad likes coffee and I hate it.
Bang for a buck, also it's cheap material and you need to learn the craft to make it especially from this time can. Don't buy it for awesome coffee but it for experiential coffee making.

Stylish, works great and makes a mean cup o' coffee!
The media could not be loaded. Love my red "cafetera greca". It makes ONE strong and LARGE cup of coffee. Fills my standard mug to the brim, barely room for cream. By "6 cups," they must mean espresso shots. If you like an old-school, piping hot, single cup of coffee that'll put some hair on your chest, this is for you. Of course, you can put less coffee grounds and make it less strong. Very versatile. Best of all, it looks great sitting out on the stove and takes up very little room. It's a cinch to clean too!Using it takes a little finesse. It's not a pod coffee maker, and there are inconveniences if you don't use it correctly. Some common challenges:1) You have to let all the parts dry completely after washing before putting it back together. If you seal it up with moisture in it you might end up with a musty metal smell next time you use it.2) The color will change with use. I've used this red one over 90 times and the red on the bottom is just starting to turn a bit brassy (See photo). Character! My last one got REALLY discolored on the bottom after a year of use, and it wasn't as pretty anymore. So I got a new one. $20 a year isn't a huge deal to me. 3) It gets VERY HOT. I had the handle melt off my first one after I forgot about it and let it cook on the stovetop for 30 minutes. As with all pots and pans, this is not a "set it and forget it" appliance. To avoid overheating the pot, you can add boiling water to the base, then add the coffee, screw on the top tightly and set it over the burner to percolate. It'll be ready in 30 seconds. Also, make sure the size of your burner/flame is not much larger than the base, or you risk heating the sides (bad) as much as the bottom. My smallest burner is larger than the pot, so I boil the water in the base first (see photo), then add the coffee and twist on the top. The biggest mistake people make with these is overheating the entire thing, burning the coffee and possibly melting off the plastic parts.4) This pot "leaks" when you pour it in the sense that coffee will run down the side unless you pour it slowly. This is due to the small spout and the lid not creating a water-tight seal. It wasn't designed to be dumped into your mug in 2 seconds flat. Take a moment to stop and smell the coffee while you gently pour it into your mug. I guarantee no spills if you do it that way. :)Enjoy!

Rock this inexpensive Moka Pot
I chose Primula Moka Pot because I wasn't sure that the method would make a low-acid coffee, espresso-like coffee that would work with my medical issues. There are other Moka Pots, but I didn't know if the resulting coffee would work for me. Therefore, I went with the cheapest. When the Primula arrived I thought, "Yup, okay, I got what I paid for." The imperfection in the metal, which is now a little stained from use in the photo, and the feel of the material concurred with its low price. But it had good weight, solid hinge, and sturdy handle, albeit small. At first, I was disappointed in the coffee. It perculated, but the coffee was like watery espresso, somewhere between an Americano and an espresso. I experimented with beans, grinds, and water amounts. I even went to Starbucks, paid for an espresso, but walked out with the grounds to try in my moka pot. The coffee was not smooth and full. Then, I don't know how it happened. I hit upon my recipe. 2 flat tablespoons of store brand espresso coffee. (Can't figure that out!) Fill water just below the pressure valve. Perk on 8 (do not overheat) and remove from burner immediately or the coffee will cook (some people love that taste).I have been told that freshly roasted, freshly ground beans will produce a crema with this method, but I haven't succeeded.Tips.1. People say the handles melt. Never put a Moka Pot in the centre of your burner.2. Make sure your fingers are in the handle properly. The hinge is hot.3. Put water in the bottom, insert the filter and add the grounds, then - leaving the base on the counter - screw on the top section. No threading errors, no leaks.4. After pouring, run under cool water, and you can flip and compost the grounds while they are damp.5. Rinse the top two pieces right away. Ready for more!6. Put the spout way over your cup. It dribbles.5 things I love. The Primula is inexpensive! It is inexpensive to operate. No pods, filters... Just grounds. Moka pots are helpful for the environment... No wasteful pods. Primula perks a steamy espresso-like coffee. Primula is solid and easy to use, easy to clean. If I upgrade to a more expensive one, here's why. The threads are not silky smooth when turning. The spout drips. The smallish handle doesn't fit a hand easily. But so far, those aren't reasons to spend $40 on a brand name Moka Pot.

Good Coffee Maker
Good sturdy quality aluminium and works well. Sent from the US and arrived much quicker than expected. Only slight niggle: none of the product pictures showed the Primula logo (which was one of the reasons for purchase as I didn't want a logo) but it is very discrete so no big issue.
