This hanging wire is very good strength...and there is A LOT of it. You'll need the appropriate crimpers for the end caps provided and a good cutting tool....this is not the dainty picture wire that comes with other frame hanging kits...this is the stuff that can hold a 100lb mirror without flinching.More than what we needed for our lightweight jobs and so much of it we will have it around for a very long time! I'm sure it will come in handy at some point...we will need to buy the appropriate tool for crimping the clamps as a regular plier crushes the shape but does not lock the wire in place.

I had never used this before, but thanks to a knowledgeable friend who could walk me through the process, and the purchasing of a decent cutter, and a crimper, we were in business. I needed this to help bolster the integrity of three pretty good size gates, and it did not disappoint. So glad to have found this stuff, now I'm looking for other things to make some cable hangers for in the back yard!

Used this to nearly run lights under our covered porch. Taught myself swaging, bought some turnbuckles and it was waaaay easier than I thought. Very neat, sturdy and safe.

Very well made. No just to say lightweight cable very strong for a size.But it is a lightweight cable and will only support up to about 350 lb.I would not recommend this cable as a tie-down cable for tents or in high wind areas.

Product working for our curtains in our rv so far. Easy enough to install. Next test will be if it works well for a diy awning setup on our rv. Not yet installed. Will update in some months after that gets tested.
