Poorly made product.
This was EXACTLY what I was looking for and needing, however will not work with NPT threading due to doanmaged threads and they also appear to be cut wrong and are sharp. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have time to send it back for an exchange a couple of times.

Looks well made but be careful of leaks
I used this to extend the length of a replacement city water filler on my RV. The replacement fitting was shorter than the original, and this eliminated the problem. Stainless steel made it drinking-water safe (unlike the brass version of this part).However, even though using teflon tape on the threads should have been enough, the joint between city water filler and this extension leaked. I had to disassemble the parts and add some pipe thread sealant to solve the problem.

Shower hardware extension
Great quality/stainless steel. Nobody in San Antonio has this part. They were clueless at Ferguson Plumbing. I went to The Shower Head company and they sent me to Amazon. This should be a common product.
