I’d been putting off picking one of these for years. It really is something that you don’t realize how much you need until you actually have one. I’m hoping that using this will save me a lot of time versus a shredder.I’ve been doing two passes on text that I wish to conceal, but one usually does the trick. The ink dries witting seconds and once applied, it’s pretty much impossible to distinguish what is underneath the ink.With ID theft on the rise, this is something that I’ll be using a lot in the future.

Not sure whether this is better or worse than any competing product, it does the job, even a prescription pill bottle with my name obscured by it survived the dishwasher without revealing my name. This is far more convenient than pulling out my heavy shredder. I learned right away that this deposits a lot of ink that can go where I don’t want it, so I sit at a desk with paper beneath the document I’m blacking personal info on to protect my hands and clothing, not always convenient. Haven’t changed the ink yet and hope it will be a long time until I must, so cannot comment on that. Stamp is a good size for most mail.

It works perfectly on regular paper, just be aware that on paper with a shiny surface like the type used on prescription bottles, it will wipe off right away with alcohol.I like the refillable ink cartridges so you don’t have to toss it when it dries out like another type I had.👍🏻

I purchased this to cover up the mailing address on items received. I also use it to cover names, bank accounts, credit card info on items I receive. This is a must to help with identifying theft. If you don't have a shredder then you really need to use this to obscure your info. It is also important to cover your address on all of those Amazon boxes you get before putting them in the garbage or recycle bins. Make sure you also cover the barcodes and QR codes. But be careful, the ink will get on you if you touch it to soon. Ink sets in about 30 seconds. Works perfectly.

I have a shredder to use and use it most times. However, wondered if this could be easier at times. And it is. Does a good job concealing info. Not sure if I need the 'confidential' splashed across, as all I needed was it to conceal the name and address. However when you do this on glossy material it is a no go. It conceals, but easily wipeable or can be washed off. So shred or get rid of these in different way. (BTW- currently the one with the ink works more cost effective)

Works, but not very good on labels. Smears and smudges on labels. Does work well on regular paper. Would recommend this roller for documents and paper.

I usually shred all my papers and take a marker to pill bottle labels when I’m done with them. However, I recently cleaned out a family members home and have boxes and boxes full of personal papers. Shredding them all would take time and be hard on my shredder so I decided to try this ink roller to ink over personal data. I’m extremely pleased with this item. I read some reviews claiming that this didn’t cover the printing on envelopes or medicine bottles, but it’s covered everything I’ve tried it on and rolls smoothly and evenly. One or two swipes is all I’ve needed. It’s not messy to use though the ink is heavy and permanent so be sure not to get it on hands or clothes. I have only gotten a tiny bit on my hand once or twice, but it’s easy to avoid doing so. It comes with three ink refills, but so far I haven’t had to refill it so I’m not sure how easy or difficult that will be. I’ve had other types of refillable stamps in the past for my job, and almost always ended up with a little ink on my fingers when refilling. It’s just the nature of the beast, so to speak. I’m very pleased with this purchase and wish I would have bought one sooner because it’s made my life easier.

Al principio funcionaba muy bien. No lo ocupo tan seguido y aún así después de aproximadamente dos meses simplemente la tinta comenzó a verse demasiado tenue sobre los papeles. Ya intenté rellenarlo y aún así no entinta como al principio. Otra desventaja es que la tinta nunca se seca. Tendré que buscar otra opción de sello.

Actually works, but can stay wet for a while so don’t get document/label near clothes etc once applied, leave a few mins.
