What is the OD (outside diameter) of the tube where it attaches to the 360 degree tip?

Not sure what you’re getting at but the tube is 4.5mm O.D. The 3M tube has both a fluid tip that fits inside the end of the tube as well as a push button/nozzle to attach to an aerosol bottle. The aerosol bottle needs to have a male nipple to attach this 3M product.

Does the 3M wax cause these to clog between uses or is there a way to make them last for multiple uses?

Thank you for your question! You can invert the aerosol can and spray until liquid has cleared the wand and nozzle, wipe off excess and return to the storage package as desired.

Will this work with a rustoleum spray can?

Are there any specs on the nozzle-to-spray can nipple size? i want to use these on a can of duplicolor rust fix -- will it fit other cans?

I don't know about specs but if you spray something through the tubes that hardens it'll probably ruin the them?
