Prettty good for GF bread!!!!
I was given a free sample of this product to try and having tried other gluten free breads was somewhat sceptical regarding this brand. As those of us who must avoid gluten (celiac disease) know most GF breads are not that palatable. I eventually used this product and was very happily surprised to find these were really quite good. I did find that mixing the dough was definitely different to regular bread dough and for several minutes I wondered if a nice dough would even form for me. However I just took my time and kept working it until low and behold I got a ball of dough. I did add some cheese as well but not as much as the recipe called for. Anyway the results were quite good, the bread formed 4 nice buns, browned and a little crispy on the outside, and best of all slightly chewy and elastic on the inside. These are good for GF buns, but they are definitely different to regular bread that we all grew up eating. I really miss having bread in my diet so these are a nice addition to have every now and then. I hadn't eaten any bread of any kind for almost a year so getting to eat these was really a great treat. Anyone who tries these should not expect these to taste just like the bread they used to eat, but at least it is close in texture and the taste is not too bad. I dipped these into a bowl of homemade GF soup and it was hard to tell the difference between this and regular bread. However there is a noticeable taste difference if you just eat the bread by itself, so I suggest using them for soup dipping, or making sandwiches, or as hamburger buns with all the trimmings, GF trimmings of course :) Good luck to everyone else who must follow the GF diet.

Best GF pizza crust there is
I've used several Chebe products over the years. This is my favorite. I use it mostly for pizza crust. All of the other chebe products have different seasonings added to the recipe so I like this one best since it's just basic dough. It's the most like regular pizza crust of pretty much all the gluten free products out there. Believe me, I've tried them all. This rises a little so it's not just a super thin crust like most gf crusts. And it takes about 2 minutes to mix up so you don't have to plan ahead like you do when you make a yeast dough. When my family gets pizza I just whip up a box of this really quick, spread it on a baking stone, pop it in the oven and voila, I have a pizza as good as what they're eating by the time the delivery guy gets to our door. With all due respect to brown rice, quinoa and cauliflower if I had to eat another pizza crust made from that I'd probably eat a box of cereal and go cry in the corner while my family ate their regular pizza. Chebe is amazing! If you can't have gluten you need to try this.

Good substitute for a dinner roll.
I do not make these with cheese as shown in the directions so bear that in mind when reading this review. I like the taste of these rolls, however, they don't hold up well as a sandwich. Also, Ifind that the texture is much better after they cool. They are gummy in the middle when eaten right out of the oven. I would highly recommend them as a dinner roll, warmed with butter or your preferred substitute.

Sooooo good!
This bread is delicious, and pretty easy to make. Be careful not to add too much liquid--its easy to get the moisture balance wrong. But otherwise, super-easy to make and has a really good flavor.

... find a gluten free roll (or bread) that tastes great and has good texture
It is hard to find a gluten free roll (or bread) that tastes great and has good texture. These rolls are amazing! I love them - and so do my gluten free friends. Even friends who are not gluten intolerant love these rolls. My husband prefers them to his own bread. They are great right out of the oven and really great lightly toasted. When I first made them, they didn't come out so great, and I wondered why there were so many positive reviews. So... I tried again. This time I spend more time kneading the dough, and they were delicious. It takes only about 10 minutes to prepare the dough and another 20 to bake them. In half an hour's time I have delicious tasting gluten free rolls. I use extra sharp cheddar cheese when I made them, and they are terrific!

Gluten Free Goodies!
I had used Chebe Bread mix in its original form. That was quite a while ago, and for some reason I'd gotten away from using it until recently. Chebe bread has come a long way! I ordered a case of the All-purpose and used it to make a nice gluten free pie crust for my Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie, and also then used it to make stuffing. And then MORE to make dinner rolls...all came out very well. I am very pleased. If you go to the Chebe website you can find many more recipes which is nice because for each recipe it tells you which versions of Chebe Bread Mix can be used for which recipes (and now there are 5 or more varieties of this Mix). I am planning on trying out the Sticky rolls and a pizza crust with this Mix so I will see how that goes. The mix, is very fine and fly away....so you want to take it easy when opening it and pouring into the bowl or you will have a fine dusting of powder around the area you are mixing it in. I have really been pretty pleased with the items I have made from the Chebe All-Purpose Mix.

Cheesy biscuits are amazing and OMG we can have bread again!
Made cheesy buns using recipe. Divided into 8 buns, not 4. I brushed generous amount of soft ghee on top, sprinkled just a teensy bit of salt and a lot of rosemary and then pressed this all into the dough w back of big spoon. Butter would work fine. Baked 25min at 375. OMG! Delicious! Two people who don't give a hoot about gluten loved them. Those of us who cannot have gluten are in HOG HEAVEN. Note: remove at 25 min even if they are only faintly brown on top, actually faintly tan. Cool on wire rack. Note: Yes, these are chewy but that is normal, and it's just a different texture taste than yeast bread. Bagels are chewy, too, and most people like them. I used a moderately sharp, mostly mild cheddar shredded white cheese, and used 1.25 cups. Yum!
