I want more
This was an exciting book. A little confusing in the beginning, but I did t want it to end. Thank God there are other books. Not spelling errors stuck out. There was only one part, where the actual writing did not make any sense, but I was able to get thru it without it affecting the story at all.

Go in blind they said...
Wow. So this story was literally a puzzle and it wasn’t until the end that all the pieces fall into place and we start to see who is who, what is what and what’s been real and not. I don’t want to say to much bc I realized many people haven’t in other reviews and honestly it was kinda nice. I truly thought this story was going one way- and if went a totally different. I will say this is a PNR. It is DIFFERENT than any other I’ve ever read. Theo is as loyal as loyal gets. He’s there for Gabby every chance she needs him even before she knows she does. They are the definition of true love and ids beautiful when it all comes together in the end.-Small drama-is paranormal but it’s not a heavy theme like usual. It’s to really diff.-Sweet, innocent h, who trusts to easily-H is protective and dominate but not super alpha male or JP like I really like-Small stalker moments that I loved but if you love stalkers like me it doesn’t toast long enough and isn’t a main theme so it’s just a little taste lol.
7**.
great book
I loved the story so much. The suspense the reader was kept at before finding out a truth. This book kept me on the edge till the end. Good writer

I had a lot of problems with this book
The author might have some bigoted notions? First of all, our fmc is tiny, so tiny, so small, like a child and she's also very tiny. I find it to be very disturbing when childlike smallness is presented as a main sexual allure. Its just creepy. Also, the fmc at one point wants to have sex with the lead male character before she's knows him very well. She believes this might make her a whore. Ouch! Just, ouch! I feel like the author just entered our timeline from the 1850s. Since when is a grown woman a whore for wanting sex? That's disgustingly bigoted. The author needs a better editor. Some of the sentences were so awkward in structure they lost their intended meaning. The story was fairly predictable and nicely dark. The author is decent and could certainly be good but this wasn't good enough for me to continue with the series.

excellent
love it! it's rawness and mysterious and it takes awhile too put the pieces together with Gabriella a very good artist who wants her anatomy for the paintings she does. she's had a hard life being tossed aside y her parents and has been in the system struggling to find a place. She has a good friend Zoey who has started to help her with displaying her artwork but Gabrella has really asked her to but she's told too show up at a meeting with a rich man who wants to make a deal. Gabriella had her 21st birthday and has found a gift in her closet wondering how anyone got in her house? But it's a sexy red dress and she thinks it's from her friend it's not something she usually wears but she feels daring so she wears it to the luncheon. She meets Theodore a tall handsome man with a edgy look too himhe also has his assistant who is very friendly and makes Gabby feel moe comfortable. But her friend is rude and and insults her dress and keeps trying too degrade Gabriella and this make Gabby pissed offbut Theodore only has eyes for Gabriella as do so many other men in the restaurant. She has no idea how beautiful she is and Theodore makes her feel strange, but she's offered a painting contract that she seems to be gravitating towards. But Theo has alterior motives and has been stalking her and brutally attacking anyone who has threatened her or even touches her. Theo is a butcher who enjoys torturing and dismembering people. But he has his sights on ( my little girl) Gabriella and this time won't let her go.

A naive girl/overbearing man
This book was okay. The female character was childlike at best and slightly unbelievable, not to mention written to be kind of unintelligent. Her “best friend” does horrible things to her all the time and yet she misses her. Not believable. She also does not spell great queen to me - there is no strength in her character. The male character is okay - weird but not terrible. I am not entirely sure if I would recommend this book.

Mystery. Horror. Love. I loved it.
To start, this is a mystery. You don't know who people really are but you get clues and begin to have suspicions. This means patience and reading between the lines. The main male character is about as alpha as they come. He's sexy, strong, protective and brutal. The main female character is strong, smart, brave, independent while still being written as soft, vulnerable and innocent. The author was able to walk that line very well, which is not easy. The back story as it slowly unfolds is fascinating. It's well written, edited and out together nicely. It's sensual and has some hot scenes but it is not a bodice ripper with a bunch of sex scenes. It is definitely more of a slow burn. The alpha hero has excellent reasons for going slow. The things that they do end up doing are pretty hot though.I read a lot of romance novels, a lot of different tropes, I went into this one blind, only knowing it was supernatural. After reading it I would categorize it as more of a horror romance. Lots of gore, torture, death throughout. Definitely not for the squeamish. Elements if fear, anguish, violence, etc throughoutAll in all I loved it. I will be reading other books by this author. Well done.

5 stars – Long live the Queen!
No one does dark like Elena M. Reyes. And then she goes and puts a spin on it!I want to tell you everything. And. I. Can’t! You’d never forgive me – it’s a simple as that.Sometimes you’ve got to feed your inner darkness… or is that just me? (Funnily enough my inner darkness sounds exactly like Audrey II *snorts*) I lost my twisted little heart to the King. Now, don’t get me wrong, I questioned my sanity the entire time. It’s that strange combination of being desperate to devour the story so you know all the things, while simultaneously being scared to turn the page because you have the fear about what’s going to happen next.Because let me tell you, the author does not hold back. Nope. EMR goes full throttle but this story deserves no less. Every look, every touch and every drop of blood spilled has meaning. So much blood *smirks*.We interrupt our scheduled reviewing with a short freak out below.Did I mention there are snakes? No?!! Huge mofos! And I fluffing hate snakes. The fear is real! *wails**shrugs*Whaaa? It’s all good. Honest. *pinches fingers* Well, sort of.“Gabriella, I want you. No one else.”*sighs*Little Lies is a dark epic thrill ride for romance readers who love their stories a little bit twisted. Who’s ready to join me?Feed the dark. All hail the Queen!
