My Granddaughter loved this gift for Christmas.

My 6 year old daughter wanted this from Santa and was the only thing she has wanted for 3 months. Christmas morning she was so excited when she saw it. Unfortunately, the egg did nothing. We followed all steps and even went to the Hatchimal website to troubleshoot. We tried 8 different steps trying to get it to do something, however the battery was apparently dead inside the egg. My daughter eventually (after about 2 hours) decided to just crack the egg itself to get it out. We had to replace the batteries for it to turn on. As you know, the "hatching" of the HATCHimal is the whole reason for this toy. She was pretty let down for Christmas as was I considering I saved my money and ended up paying 3 x's the amount for it. These are normally $49.99 and due to the craze, everyone marked them up. I am very disappointed and feel like I wasted my money that I worked very hard for.

Kids love it! they didn't have the one we ordered so I got a phone call from them asking which one we wanted which was nice but not the exact one we origionally expected. They are a bit pricey at the moment so hopefully that changes because I have two kids, I feel like it was to expensive for how small and what it does. Think a furby hatching from an egg but moves? I guess that's how I would explain it. I don't feel like it is worth the price the demand is just high. But the kids on the other hand love it.It's small too so if your expecting a big thing it's not.

Delivery was great but our daughter's Hatchimal kept turning off in the egg and after doing that 3 times, it never hatched and never turned back on. We helped the hatching process. We read ALL the instructions and changed the batteries in hope that it would work again but it never sang the Hatchy Birthday Song, eyes never lit up again and absolutely no sound at all :(Absolute waste of money!!I tried calling Spin Master a couple of times with no success with actually speaking to someone about it

So Cute! But don't ask me to purchase any more or watch these hatch! I am so tired of Ebay bidding, and buying for others! Way over priced on Ebay and too much price gouging, but when you have to buy, you buy! I must say it's very adorable! My husband said he wanted one, I told him to go get in a line at a store! I would recommend this to others

Very disappointing and the most memorable moment of the egg hatching was ruined because the egg arrived with a hole in the egg and the egg wouldn't hatch. I am sorry I even tried to surprise my 9 year old granddaughter Christmas morning with a Hatchimals Hatching Egg.Her, and I, definitely feel cheated and scammed out of $144.00, and will never buy another.sincerely, Debra

Unfortunately the batteries were out so it couldn’t hatch itself, but the seller was able to give me a refund for half the cost! We had to take the Hatchimal out of the egg our self, and replace the battery, but it works now!

The girls have loved the Hatchamals. Everyone
