Awesome soil amendment
I had to use this product for a couple of months before I gave my opinion. This neem has turned out to be an awesome soil amendment. It has given my soil the life It was missing plus a little extra that I didn't realize I was missing. I'm pleased with the results and will recommend it to my gardening comrades.

Kills fungus gnats dead!
We purchased this to make Neem "tea" after fungus gnats invaded seed starting soil blocks. The blocks have to be kept moist, so moisture plus heat mat plus grow light = fungus gnat infestation. Soaking the Neem pellets in water for 2-3 hours and using the (strained) liquid in the seed trays did the trick. Within 3 days, no more gnats! Price is a little high, and amount in the bucket is more than we'll use in some time but this item was the only one we could find which was recommended for the "tea".

The product it’s advertised inside a pail
I love the product however not very happy that it came on a bag .They advertise the product in a pail 🪣 with cover. Not happy they should change the photos on the advertisement.

Great fertilizer
The product is great for fertilizing, but it did not resolve my fungus gnat issue. Sadly I still have a fungus gnat infestation, but I can say that this product does great with fertilizing my plants and that's the only reason why I would buy it again. Also does take a while to dissolve.

Great to get rid of fungus knats
I had a huge fungus gnat problem that I could not get rid of. I made a tea out of this neem cake to pour over my plants and it worked well. I used about 1/2 scoop to a gallon of water, let it set for about 12 hours in the sun and then poured enough on the plants that all the dirt was saturated. I have tried many other ways to get rid of the gnats and nothing seemed to work except this neem cake.

Gnats be gone!
This stuff is magic. Sprinkle some on potting mix, brew a tea from soaking pellets and water with it, for serious fungus gnat infestation. After doing that once and adding at least a couple pellets to all my pots (and now incorporating pellets into my potting mix), my fungus gnat problem has been solved! Only thing is they tend to get a little moldy if wet. I’ve found that breaking the pieces up by hand, after they’ve started to “grow” helps. I’ll take a little fungus minus the gnats any day.

...
I waited for the end of season to give my review. I am an organic home gardener that takes time in building up my soil health and always want an organic products to succeed. That said, this small 5 gall bucket made of a very heavy plastic did not go far! The seller has since added instructions to the page. At the time and through other reviews you will see that was not always the case. I had no guidelines but did fair enough through experience.I was sad that the large granules did not go far at all! I think the bucket weighed more than the product 😂. I can not prove that though. The price far outweighs the value of this product. I will not purchase again due to; #1 price is too high , #2 small amount of product, #3 heavy plastic bucket, #4 my plants did no better than the cheapest organic bag at my big box store.I do not understand the other 5 star reviews. But there there is always a chance someone is just starting out and doesn't have much experience with different products. The "neem matrix" that this product touts did not seem to have much affect. In studies done by the NIH, the neem matrix is supposed to do well. I saw no great benefit with this product. My other variables like the amount of water, amount of sun, heat etc. Were all consistent with the last 2-3 summers.I would save your money on this product. Focus on building up good soil. Many videos out there show you how. (I do not make videos). Just purchase your cheaper organic plant food and wait for a company that you know really backs organic life and helping the earth. The advertising pulled me in on this and I gave it a go. Learn from my mistake.Kind Regards
