To me, they feel more cotton-like vs 100% spandex. They are very comfortable. But they do run small in size. I normally fit comfortably in a men's Large, but had to order a 2XL in these. Again, they are very comfy if you find the appropriate size.

Q: I have a 32 inch waist but like them tight what size should I order

I would say get the large or possibly XL. I have a 38 inch waist and I got the 2XL and they are a bit tight.
