AIAIAI TMA-2 Studio Professional Studio Headphones with Highly Detailed Audio...

My old pair died so thought I'd try these as really like their DJ model. Using mainly with Ableton Live sets and little listening on my laptop. Sound is well balanced and not overly bassy. I prefer the sound of these to my old pair and these were a little cheaper. Wore them for a good 5 hours last night and are super comfy. Very happy but warning to anyone who's new to these headphones that they come in parts and you have to build them yourself. I actually like it as I'm into the replaceable parts thing but might not be for everyone.

I upgraded to the AIAIAI TMA-2 Studio after using the Audio-Technica M40x for a couple of years, and the difference is clear. The sound on the TMA-2 is more detailed, with a wider soundstage and better separation, especially in the mids and highs. Bass is tight and present, but not overwhelming—perfect for mixing and long listening sessions. Comfort is also a noticeable improvement. The ear pads are softer and more breathable, making long sessions much more bearable. I used to take breaks with the M40x just because they’d start feeling stiff—no such issue here. Build quality is also a win. The modular design felt gimmicky at first, but it’s actually super practical and gives me confidence in the product’s long-term durability. The M40x started showing cable issues after a while—here, if something wears out, I can just replace that part. If you’re coming from something like the M40x and want a more refined, professional experience, this is a solid upgrade.

A friend turned me onto these. Always thought AIAIAI were DJ or lifestyle but seems they also make some pretty good studio gear. Have been super impressed with them - here’s my take: Pros: - Insanely comfortable - lightweight but not cheap feeling by any means. Ear cushions are probably most comfortable I’ve ever tried (I'd say my ears are prob medium). - Very balanced sound profile - never feel like I’m getting anything too artificial (over bearing bass) on these. Also seem to be good on the ears - am wearing mine for hours without any noticeable fatigue. Sound quality is excellent. - Appreciate that you can swap out the ear cushions and that the ones on these are such good quality. My last headphones started to get that flaky skin which gets all over you! Really like that I can just swap out the cushions if I ever need to without having to trash the headphones. - Left and right cable inputs - sometimes I like to switch this up. When working out my audio interface I need to run to my right, whereas I have my synth output to my left. Great feature to be able to switch the cable either side Cons: - My only gripe is that I had to assemble these myself. I kind of feel that the unboxing could have be a little more ‘high end’. Not going to deduct any stars though as I guess this is part of AIAIAI’s modular approach but still think unboxing could be slightly improved. In summary, extremely comfortable and surprisingly well balanced headphones with a sturdy build and all in all extremely happy with these. With the replaceable ear cushions hoping to be using them for many years to come!

Very analytical sound, if you need any oomph a good dac with tone control makes the magic appear. Very stylish design. Lovr them

First of all, I've used these for a year and I can say they are a 10/10 on comfort/usability and durability. I often game for hours on end and no part of the headphones cause me issue or discomfort. Also, AIAIAI has a whole modular line based around the TMA-2 line of headphones which lets you mix and match parts, if you go to their website. These are closed back, so they dampen outside noise, but don't have active noise cancelling, which is fine for me. If you're looking for something like Beats headphones bass levels, don't get these. These are meant to have a balanced frequency response. The bass is clean and balanced, but not boosted. AIAIAI do offer a modular upgrade to the ear pieces that come on these, I'm probably going to upgrade to those or something wireless. I love the eco-conscious and modular philosophy of this company. I'll definitely buy their products again.

Bastante bien tanto para producción y mezcla, los he usado en cabinas muy ruidosas y aislan bastante bien, gracias ha su precisión me ha resultado hacer facilmente beatmatching y detectar detalles en ecualización.

The modular design is straight-up genius. Swapping earpads or drivers? Yes, please. It’s like building your own custom rig, and it makes these headphones feel future-proof. Only gripe? The earcups are a tad shallow for my ears, brushing them slightly, which can get annoying after a long session. But that’s just my ears being picky—probably not an issue for most. Doesn’t stop me from loving these cans. Build’s solid, look’s sleek, and the included cable and pouch are nice touches. If you’re into pristine audio and cool design, these are a no-brainer.

耳疲れをさせない音質で素晴らしいです 解像度も文句なしでHi,Mid,Lowバランスよく鳴らしてくれます イヤーパッドがもふもふで柔らかいのでずっと着けてられます ヘッドバンドが短いので頭にはジャストフィットするのですが首にかけると窮屈になります (これは個人差あると思います。私は体格いいので首元がきついと感じました) バラバラに分解できて持ち運べて清潔を保てる 壊れたらパーツごとに購入できるのも◎ 実際使っての注意点は 現場で暗い中組み立てた時 ジャックがちゃんとハマってなくて いざDJプレイをする際に片方からしか出力しないトラブルが起こりました。 テンパるのでなるべく明るい中で組み立てた方がいいです コードをスピーカーユニットに接続するのはツマミがある側の穴に挿して回してちゃんと奥まで入れるとした方がわかりやすいと思います 現場からは以上です
